" I booked a room in A.A. Lodge Amboseli Amboseli, Kajiado County, Kenya, through the online hotel.com service on February 23 and paid $ 177 for 1 day through a visa card. When I arrived in A.A. Lodge Amboseli, the hotel administrator did not meet me warmly, suspecting that I really paid for the stay? How will I prove it? When I showed the confirmation from hotels.com from my email, he stated that hotels.com had not yet transferred the money to their account, so I have to pay in cash now ......

"Extemely angry at our treatment at this hotel. Would recomend avoiding at all costs. We did not want food during our stay and brought are own however the staff made food anyway and guilt tripped us into eating it. We then asked for costs or prices and were told the food was free and inclusive to our stay. Sadly this was a complete a lie and at checkout they tried to charge us 25 pounds a person for each meal. "Let me start by saying the staff and service was excellent. You could not fault them for trying to please and ensuring that they made you as welcome and comfortable as possible. But the camp itself was very run down and showers and general facilities disappointing. The blame for this has to be with the owners of the camp who have failed to spend money on decent facilities. "Love the room club tent. Tons of room. Great view. The staff are amazing. Super friendly and respond to your needs instantly. The Ostriches are absolutely hilarious. Made us laugh everyday! Food is top notch. Staying outside the park is good so you have option to pay for the park or not. We saw Craig the old elephant outside the park at the conservancy. "

"The Soap lodge is located just outside Amboseli National Park. It is an absolutely beautiful sanctuary with luxurious rooms, wonderful staff, awesome cultural experiences and delicious food. The staff bent over backwards to provide excellent service and were exceptionally friendly and fun. We absolutely LOVED our stay there! "
