The room was clean. The lady at the front desk allowed us to eat our lunch in the breakfast area before checking in that day. We were loading the contents of a storage unit across the street into a moving van and needed a place to eat some leftovers. She was so kind to let us eat in comfort. My elderly dad needed some nail clippers and she provided a pair. The breakfast was good. They allowed us to fill our cooler for the long trip that day.

Decent for the price

For the price this was a decent stay. All the staff were friendly and professional. Joe was especially helpful. The room could use some updating. The bed was comfortable. Conversations in the next room could be heard walls kind of thin bit overall no loud experiences.

Being on a walker the whole staff was right there to help with anything I could need from opening doors in and out to showing me how to work the tv and bringing my luggage in and out, they were all so kind and polite! But we couldn’t find the pool?

I wanted to give this hotel a better review because the staff were very friendly and pleasant. However I could not overlook some concerns I had. I was placed in a room that was a designated room for people who had pets. The woman at the desk asked if I had a pet and I said no. She informed me my room was a designated pet room and unfortunately she couldnt move me. The odor of the room was unpleasant. I went and bought airfreshner but still the room stunk. I could hear conversations as well as snoring in the room next to mine. There is not much to chose from in Jerseyville IL but next time I will drive the extra 15 min and pay 20.00 more in Alton for a better place. The chair in my room was old and worn out. The heater made an unusual whirring sound which was annoying. The only real good I can say is that the staff were pleasant. The hotel needs some updating desperately. If you are going to stay here make sure you tell them you dont want a room pets have stayed in unless of course you have a pet.

The staff was very pleasant, helpful and friendly. The room's Air Conditioner was very loud -and made a lot of noise- and then it sort of whined and sputtered each time it ended a cycle. The TV had operational issues. A staff member, Lee, kindly came up and spent about 20 minutes getting the TV to work. She couldn't do anything about the elevator-(but, it needed fixing and was going to report it to maintenance). The breakfast options were very nice. And the corn field surroundings were charming.

Great front desk!

We stayed here while exhibiting cattle at the Jersey county fair. The front desk was very welcoming and remembered us and our dog from last year!
