“One of a kind property that defies categorization. Worked out very well for us as a couple traveling with our dog. Owners were friendly and flexible. Antiques and knickknacks throughout the property as well as steep stairs make it not particularly kid-friendly. Can walk to restaurants and park nearby. ”

“The staff were so friendly. My mom and I were on a road trip with two toddlers and a 6 year old. The lady at the front desk dropped off a pack and play with a cute little fitted sheet for us to use even though I had packed our own it was so thoughtful. The place was clean, well maintained, we felt safe and the bed was so comfortable! The shower and bath was spacious enough to fit all three littles in at once. “The building was very old and has a weird smell in the room. Bathroom did not have a fan. Front desk employees were rude when answering questions.”

“The property was very nice and welcoming. When we walked in, everything smelled clean and fresh with no odors throughout the hotel. Our room was comfortable, and the TV worked well, although I wish there were more local news channels available so guests could stay updated on what’s happening around Kansas City. “The bad. Internet out during checkin. Slight delay in getting room key. Toilet handle leaked water after a flush. Elevator out of order for most of trip. Breakfast offered is bare min. No spoons avail. The good. Staff very friendly. Repair man fixed the toilet in a timely manner. Room for the most part was fine. Very close to airport.”

“This place wants you to check in with a kiosk instead of the person behind the desk. The kiosk has you doing essentially a video call with someone at another location for check in. It is time consuming and the communication is bad. Very bad experience. Breakfast options were a bowl of cereal or toast. Bare bones and not really worth coming downstairs for.”
