A real cannon; used in one of the American Civil War battles- The Battle at Gettysburg. This particular battle is the most well known battle throughout the Confederate-Union dispute which lasted two years. This battle was one of the deadliest battles through the duration of the war. Black cannons could shoot to two miles away and green cannons could shoot to one mile away.
The view of Devils Den from Little Round Top. I can not imagine the feelings of the soldiers on that July second.
My favorite location in Gettysburg and, for me, one of the most interesting battles during the Battle of Gettysburg. Rain or shine this place is beautiful but there is always a sense of sadness which is most noticeable, I feel, during a cold, rainy, fall day. #gettysburg #civilwar #pennsylvania #littleroundtop

Sachs Covered Bridge is 100 feet long and is a pedestrian only bridge and is owned by the Gettysburg Preservation Association. Was worth the drive away from the Gettysburg attractions to find it even tho it was a gray cloudy day when we were there. #historic #bridges #gettysburg
