“The grounds and pool were absolutely amazing, we even used the boat on the lake. Gardens and grounds beautifully maintained so pretty just to walk around. We had a lovely relaxing time.”

“Friendly, welcoming staff. Obviously a hotel that’s seen better times since it was built — just now feeling a bit seedy and run down. Room was comfortable — all amenities OK — an excellent walk-in shower but NO SHELF to put things on! Just little niggly things like that which let it down a bit. A passably nice evening meal at the restaurant as well. However — excellent service and assistance from all the staff and for the price I got the room at I was more than satisfied with my stay.”
