A great sleep at the "Lamb"
We stayed at the "Lamb" last night. Our room was clean,tidy ,spacious and the bed was comfortable. Bathroom had fresh towels and a nice hot shower and all the other expected facilities in the room. Breakfast was included and very tasty and the staff friendly and chatty. We would definitely stay there again when in the area.

Enjoyed our stay the room was cleaned every day, fresh towels and the stay was very comfortable. We didn’t have any wifi but was not too bothered by that. The breakfast was lovely and good choices on the menu. Food in the pub was excellent. We will be back again

The lamb in was one of the loveliest places we stayed in a while. Staff were extremely polite and helpful, the service was great. The food was absolutely delicious. Would 💯 come back again and recommend.

the service was really good and accommodating. Room was very clean. overall very good. a couple of items i would have liked was that the basin drained faster, place to put items in the bathroom(shelves), hooks to hang towels and clothing, handle on bathroom door to close it from the inside, shelf in the shower to place soap etc and perhaps the shower taps should be on the wall on the left so you do not get wet when turning the shower on !. but overall really commendable

Comfortable but not very clean, pricey food
Nice village pub. Restaurant menu very pricey, but same owners have a pizza/pasta across the road, which still pricey but not so posh or expensive as the pub. Breakfast menu was nice but the actual food just ok. Room was comfortable but not the cleanest I've stayed in with sticky spills on the furniture and I think it was the carpet that smelled of vomit. Room overlooking the kitchen exterior I think and noisy extractor fan. Music downstairs on til late. Service was excellent.

Short but very sweet visit.
This is a great find, only 8 rooms, but it’s true what they say about good things coming in small packages. The food and service here is excellent. The staff are so friendly and really.. nothing is too much trouble. We had an issue with the toilet, just happened to mention it at Breakfast to Lottie, straight away she offered a move of room to a really lovely alternative. The food is gorgeous, Adriana is excellent at front of house, knowledgeable, professional but what a great character! We will certainly be back at some time in the future to this great hotel in this charming village!

Stayed for two nights. Service was 1st class all the staff were friendly and very helpful especially Jonah. Breakfast was really nice. Staff very attentive. Would highly recommend The Lamb at Angmering

Liked everything . Lottie and Adriana in particular as co managers went out of their way for all that we wanted. We had very hot weather but had a fan in the room so no problem. Bathrooms looked recently renovated with nice shower. Charming British Pub and hotel. Not cheap but worth every penny and the food was superb.

A delightful 2 night break. Exceptionally helpful staff who all had time to chat with you. Delicious food at dinner and breakfast. Excellent position for visiting Arundel and surrounding area. Will return.

Really disappointed. For a well regarded Gastro Inn… there was no “Gastro” on Sunday evening so it was just a rather dated, small room above the pub. Breakfast was very good, but at $160 it was poor value for money for a room and breakfast. I’m sure the food, when it’s available, is great but on Sunday night it was an expensive mistake.

A must place to stay
Lovely place, great atmosphere, welcoming staff. The best smoked salmon and scrambled eggs I have ever eaten and the fresh orange juice was delicious. I would thoroughly recommend this place for a visit.

Weekender !!!
The lamb Perfect, staff were great nothing to much trouble, check in shown to our room and all the relevant information was clear and understanding. Great premier room lovely comfortable and really well presented, would definitely recommend.

What a find for an overnight stay. After breakfast I thought about the previous 15 hours spent at the Lamb trying to find a fault and failed! Both evening meal and breakfast was superb and the room was great. I was a little cold but it was -4 outside!

My husband and I were going to a party in Littlehampton and needed somewhere to stay overnight. The Lamb turned out to be the perfect choice. The staff were very welcoming and the room was well equipped. We didn’t eat there in the evening, but the specials board and breakfast made us wish we had been able to. A thumbs up from us.

Everything good quality and lovely staff. Unfortunate meal on first night had to be sent back so cancelled table on second night. Must have been a one-off bad meal as very busy with food and breakfasts were excellent. Dealt with very professionally.
