“I stayed with my mother and sister. We unanimously voted that our stay was wonderful. The service really set the tone to begin our stay. She greeted me with a smile and walked me over to the apartment. She explained everything. We were even offered dinner eventhough dinner service had finished - we checked in very late. They even kept the kitchen open longer for my mother who couldn't make it in time. The apartment itself was spacious, comfortable, easy to move around and not to forget...

“Rambling farmhouse with quirky decour”

“A very homely cottage in a quiet setting just what we as a family wanted and got . The cottage itself had everything that you would have at home which you wouldn’t get in a hotel. Cottage had 3 bedrooms each with un suite bathrooms which certainly is helpful when everyone was getting ready to go out at the same time . We as a family wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this cottage.”

“Very nice stay, would return. Floorboards in room a bit creaky and was worried about the noise I was making in the room below. A few stains on bedding, but overall a really relaxing stay and fantastic breakfast.”

“Helen & Matt are first class hosts and The Mill offers a peaceful, relaxed break in beautiful surroundings. As many others have said, breakfast is of hotel quality and freshly cooked to order. For our evening meals we took an easy 11 mile drive to Llandeilo where there were several options. Visiting National Botanic Gardens was easy (once we used a map and ignored SatNag!) and that's an excellent day trip. We rarely visit the same place twice, however, we wouldn't hesitate to return to The Mill...

“Lovely location, with a restaurant and a pub within walking distance, and a 24 hour laundrette at the service station just down the road. The room was very comfortable and the facilities included a kitchen, a dining area with a lovely view, and lounge with a large TV. The owners were friendly, helpful and gave good information on things to see and do.”

“What a excellent place to stay, very relaxing….was amazing sitting in the hot tub under the trees in the nature…..the little waterfall and constant sound of the water very relaxing….sauna excellent, hosts excellent would highly recommend if you want to relax also some excellent walks nearby thanks for having us see you again ”

“This was such a find! Stayed one night with friends in a private room while we hiked in the Brecon Beacons and it was perfect for what we needed. Perks included - plenty of drying rooms (it rained the whole time we were there so this was very much needed!), restaurant and bar, cosy lounge with fire and board games, and a sink in the room. Easy to find, plenty of parking, and great location. If I'm in the area again I will definitely come back.”
