“We booked for 2 nights and stayed a 3rd as we loved it so much! Greg met us and got us settled in and was very helpful with suggestions for things to see and restaurants. The accommodations were so beautiful and had everything we needed. The breakfasts were excellent and well presented. Location is excellent and loved Pitlochry so much. “We stayed in a Special Occasions Room where there was mold in the shower, and the curtains were not fixed to the rail by all the hooks. There is no air conditioning. The room was very hot and only one window opened. The rest were painted shut. The staff at reception were very professional, but spoke very quickly making difficult to understand what was being said if you are hard of hearing (which I am) or if English is not your first language. “We were given a room in the lower part which was pretty dark with two little windows, it was a bit gloomy. The bath saved the room, it’s the biggest bath we’ve ever used, was lovely at the end of the day. We ate in the restaurant for breakfast and dinner, food was very good and as were the staff. Pool was nice but certainly not a pool designed for doing actual swimming, you had to dodge round people to get across to swim on “length” . Never got to try the hot tub due to the same people hogging...

““I stayed at the Atholl Palace Hotel for two nights, and unfortunately, I was disappointed with several aspects. The water pressure in the bathroom was weak, making it uncomfortable to shower. The bed and other facilities were quite uncomfortable as well. There was no concierge service, which I found inconvenient. Apart from the nice views and the historical charm of staying near the castle, I didn’t find much value in the experience.””

“A beautiful retreat awaits! The room was large and the bath seemed larger! The restaurant was excellent for both the breakfasts and our dinners. Excellent wine list too. The Spa was a nice break during our travels.”
