"I wish I could give Colivault 10 stars. This place and the owner, Richard, are absolute treasures. We had the small house for 3 of us and it was perfect. Breakfast was amazing and even served out in garden on our second morning. The accommodations are absolutely spotless and every little small detail is perfect. The finishings are all high end. I would not hesitate to come back."

"We stayed 2 nights, mom and teen daughter. Stayed in a queen cabin. First the goods - the air conditioning on our cabin was exceptional and bed super comfy. We slept well in the heat. The staff are ALL very friendly and helpful. Pool was perfect temperature for a dip in the heat. They had poolside drink service too. Honestly, I can’t say enough about the very good and friendly service. Location is fantastic, very close to Blois. You need a car Points to consider - the wifi in our cabin was practically non-existent. If you have to work here, plan to rely on cell service. As others have mentioned, the shower is poorly designed and if you aren’t very careful, water will stream everywhere. I noticed the floor is warped in several places and I expect it’s from sitting water from shower. Breakfast was not excellent. Reminded me more of a Holiday Inn Express than a beautiful French countryside hotel. Maybe my expectations were too high. We ate at the restaurant one evening. We enjoyed it, staff very accommodating."

I did not ask in advance, however we were the first guests and the breakfast room was completely empty.)"

"The hotel was clean, reasonably priced, and a quick walk to the Chamount Sur Loire Chateau (which was amazing!) The modern style/design of the hotel was really fun, comfortable and well-appointed. The staff was mostly friendly , especially Olivia and Julia in reception. The onsite restaurant was very good, and quite reasonable considering how fancy the food was. Chef Victor offered us a quick tour of the kitchen and was quite charming and friendly. The downsides are: some of the second floor rooms have very steep, narrow stairs that would be a challenge with luggage. There are also no amenities. No air conditioning, no fridge in the room, no room service and thus no milk w coffee. It’s a good stop for those passing through as there is no real town nearby and little to do at the hotel but sleep and eat."
