It is run fby Family , and it truly shows and how they take care of their guest. There are knowledgeable and accommodating when offering suggestions and activities in the area. Our family of four stayed in one room. It had proper accommodations for all of us. Breakfast was made every morning and it was delicious. Highly recommend going to the area to stay this hotel ”

“PLUSES: Surroundings are gorgeous and lots of trails and things to do; full of birds for Birders, and various other animals. The staff was (mostly) professional, knowledgable and friendly. The grounds and rooms are very clean. The included breakfast is quite tasty with a variety of options. CONCERNS: The property is isolated, as it is 40 mins w/ no traffic or road issues to La Fortuna and other activities outside the property. Some may love this. Dinners were more of a 3/5. “This place was a gem, nice clean rooms with a kitchen. Our room was facing the volcano so that was a surprise. They had a bridge to walk over to get to breakfast, that was so cool for the kids. Breakfast was so good and fresh. I highly recommend. ”

“Our room was clean and the staff was awesome. We saw wildlife and the most beautiful sunsets. Breakfast was a very good vegetarian breakfast. Sophia was amazing and the gentleman who served breakfast was delightful.”

“Room and property are beautiful. They offer breakfast but wasn't able to try it due to our scheduling didn't coordinate with their 7am start time. That is one thing I would change is maybe have breakfast start at 6 for people going on tours so they can eat first. They did provide one day a to go box the night before with sandwich and fruit which was nice. The pool and hot tub were relaxing and they have a .25 mile hike thru woods on their property that is awesome. The view of volcano was...

“The property grounds are incredible, offering an abundance of options for guests to explore and have access to. All staff encountered were kind and helpful. It was also a complete benefit that the Cloud Forest shuttle is literally right across the road! We would definitely stay here again!”

“I stayed two nights in a private room, the ladies on reception were so friendly and helpful with helping book my activities, they’ve really created a welcoming and chilled vibe. The kitchen and outdoor area is lovely. There’s everything you need both in the property and nearby. It was very chilly at night but was provided with extra blankets, the strong wind was a little noisy with plants hitting my window but I didn’t mind and always take earplugs in case of outside noise. It was super clean....

“Generally clean. Hot water is GOOD. Backyard is pretty. Free coffee. Breakfast is GREAT. You can choose 1 out of 3 dishes. I recommend to choose traditional tacos. The night staff guy is very helpful and friendly. You can book whatever tour you want (Morning staff guy doesn't have a good attitude, tho). Also, close to bus terminal and restaurants.”
