good price, amazing location

it was good. with this price, you can't complain. i checked in late at night but they were helpful informing how to check in, and it was easy to do so. you might have to communicate with them through e-mails cause reception isn't 24 hours, but they answer quiet promptly during business hour. great location. very close to the subway station, many pubs to enjoy, supermarket nearby, good cafes too. good to walk around. with this amazing location and relatively very cheap price, it was above all great. love to stay anytime in future!

A clean, quiet hotel in the heart of Bexley village. Lots of restaurant and pub options and close to the Southeast Rail station. Shower pressure was very low. The small sink was cute but made it impossible to wash one's face without getting water all over shoes and floor. Cleaning fluids used in hallways smelled like uncured bathtub caulking -- somewhat nausea-inducing.

The hotel is pleasant. The rooms are clean and nice as are the bathrooms. It is only a couple of minutes walk from the train station (which takes you to London). There are cafes and bars on the same street and it is a pleasant area to walk around. The hotel staff is only there for a short amount of time each day and there is no breakfast (though there are plenty of options for breakfast within a minute's walk of the hotel).

The room is clean and well set but suffers from one serious fault. You cannot open any windows. There's no fresh air. Sadly I'm still awake at 1.30am.

What attracted us to this Hotel was the location - right in the centre of Bexley Village, just right for us to attend a party at my brother’s place after driving down from Wiltshire. As soon as we got there, we realised that we had made a mistake. The entrance door handle was hanging off, attached only with gaffer tap and it didn’t improve when we got inside. The rooms were located along a labyrinth of narrow, musty corridors on multiple levels, covered in cheap dirty carpet. The room itself was equipped with poor quality furniture and another gaffer taped door handle to the bathroom. The carpet around the beds was so dirty that we couldn’t take our shoes off. We debated leaving and trying to find somewhere else, but we were late for the party and we didn’t know where to look - so we stayed, but used our own pillows. After the party, we arrived back by taxi to find that Saturday night in Bexley Village is like high season Ibiza. Literally hundreds of youngsters spilling out from at least 4 very noisy pubs! At least the room was at the back and surprisingly quiet, so we slept soundly. We left early in the morning after a shower - not too bad and nice clean towels.

10 ⭐️ property - excellent room, comfy beds, easy check in and check out, next to practically the best restaurants in London (Italian, Thai, bars & pub food etc.) and at least 8 convenience stores within 1 minute walk. A cell phone store across the street so we could buy adaptors and cords. Plus bus stops and train station all within blocks of the hotel. We bought beer and ice and they provided a container we could use! Kindness and hospitality galore. We stayed 3 days and would definitely stay again!

Central and no walking distance to bars and pubs. Quiet and great if you are looking for somewhere to sleep without the big hotel energy, hussle and bustle.

Booked here to visit our relatives. A short walk from Bexley station. There are many shops, cafes and restaurants on the high street. Staff is very helpful and commutative.

I booked this as a Deluxe Room, it is entirely the opposite. The carpet was horrible, the shower was awful, never took clothing out of case due to the closet of death! I regret to say that our recent reservation at the Village Hotel Bexley was extremely disappointing. The experience was marred by a significant issue that left us stranded in the middle of the night. After an enjoyable evening out, we returned to the hotel at 12.20 am only to find that we could not get the external door open via the key card we were given, as we found out later the door had been locked from the inside. Despite repeated attempts, the door would not budge. We immediately contacted the hotel and were put in touch with the owner, 'Lucky'. He assured us that he would be there in 10 minutes to resolve the issue. However, 10 minutes turned into 20, then 30, and then 40. Despite our repeated calls and increasing frustration standing out in the cold, Lucky continued to tell us he would be there in "another 10 minutes". It became apparent that he had no intention of coming to help us. My wife’s medication was in the room, and she needed to take them that evening, he was not interested, kept saying he would be there in 10 minutes. An hour later and it was clear he had no intention in coming out to assist. As a result, we were forced to find alternative accommodation at 1.15am in the morning. This not only disrupted our night but also left us feeling deeply disappointed, distressed and let down by the hotel's management. The next morning, we returned to the hotel and explained our predicament to the receptionist, making it clear that we expected a full refund.
