좀 오래되어서 시설이 낡기는 했지만 위치가 좋아서 지내기 편했어요. 런던가면 지내는 곳인데 이번에 너무 어두운 방으로 배정이 되어서 우울하기는 했지만.. 지내기에는 괜찮았습니다.

일주일간의 런던 여행
깨끗하고 런던 다른 호텔보다 공간도 넓은 장점을 가진 호텔입니다. 하이드파코, 자연사박물관이 가까이 있으며 SouthKendington, Glocester road 튜브역도 가까워서 좋습니다. 치안도 좋은 지역이며, 주변에 좋은 레스토랑과 Waitrose, Tesco 같은 마켓이 있어서 편리합니다. 욕실에 따뜻한 물이 잘 나오는 점도 좋으며, microwave, fridge, 기본식기가 갖추어져 있습니다. 아들과 둘만 간거라서 음식을 해먹지 않았지만, 필요시 유용합니다. 단점은 조식부페가 정통 유럽식 찬음식 위주라는 것과 욕실 샤워부스에 커튼이 없어서 물이 밖으로 많이 튀는 것이 불편합니다. 전번적으로 만족스러운 호텔입니다. 다음에도 다시 방문할 생각이 있습니다.

편리한호텔

최적의 위치와 환상적인 시설
그로스터 로드역, 자연사박물관과 빅토리아 알버트 뮤지엄 바로 옆, 하이드파크에서도 가까운 최적의 지역이었습니다. 가격 대비 시설 역시 런던에서 가능하지 않을 정도로 잘 갖추어진 최고의 호텔이었습니다. 역 바로 옆에 세인즈베리와 식당도 많고, 조용하고 깨끗한 주택가 분위기로 런던 시내에 묶었던 것보다 훨씬 좋았습니다. 단 스튜디오룸에는 세탁기가 없고 이그제큐티브 룸 이상에 있습니다. 욕조도 있고 어매니티도 좋았습니다. 장기투숙객이 많이 묶는 호텔 분위기로 친절하고 좋습니다.

Clean and convenient
객실이 조금 좁다는 느낌이 들긴 했지만 전체적으로 청결하게 유지되어 있었고 교통도 좋은 편이었음. 다만, 유모차나 휠체어용 경사길이 없고 계단만 있기 때문에 유모차나 휠체어를 들어서 올라가야 하는 점이 아쉬움.

A Perfect Place
Perfect located near two stations. South Kensington to three museums-Science, Natural History, V&A, Gloucester to everywhere. I stayed with my 9-year old boy, we could enjoy 11 musicals around Covent Garden and Piccadilly. Ther room was clean and modern, warm and cozy. Special thanks to the staffs. Mr.Ralph at the front, served us fresh newspapers, copied and scanned of ID, booked restaurant and taxi. He did everything as a professional!

런던에 가면 다시 이용하겠습니다.
다음에도 런던에 가면 이곳에 숙박할 것입니다. 지하철 3개 라인(피카딜리, 디스트릭트, 서클)이 지나가 교통도 편하고, 많은 버스들을 근처 사우스켄싱턴역 부근에서 탈 수 있었습니다. Zone1지역이지만 번잡하지않고 깨끗하고 편리한 동네입니다. 히드로공항에서 환승없이 피카딜리 라인으로 바로 갈 수 있습니다. 글로스터로드역에서 엘리베이터까지 계단을 20개쯤 올라가긴 해야하지만요. 갈 때는 한인택시 픽업서비스 부탁했지만, 올 때는 그 돈으로 글로스터로드역 근처 그린도어 스테이크 하우스에서 와인 곁들여 거하게 먹고 힘내서 지하철타고 왔습니다. 글로스터로드역 도보 3분, 사우스켄싱턴역은 도보5분. 하이드파크, 자연사박물관, VA박물관 다 도보로 가깝습니다. 평일 늦은 밤과 주말에도 문을 여는 웨이트로즈 수퍼, 24시간 여는 테스코, 우체국(여기 환전소가 수수료 0입니다), 식당 들 다 가깝습니다. 수퍼 퀄리티는 다 아시겠지만 웨이트로즈가 훨씬 좋구요. 양식에 물리신 분들은 사우스켄싱턴역 근처 가시면 와사비를 비롯해 일식당 2개 있습니다. 알고보니 근처 주택처럼 보이는 곳들이 지금은 거의 다 호텔과 외국 대사관 등으로 쓰이고 있더라구요. 방과 욕실 넓고, 주방시설도 편리하고 지하에 무료셀프세탁기와 건조기 있습니다. 세제는 준비해가시는 게 좋구, 수퍼에서 2~3유로에도 살 수 있습니다. 1층 식당에서 부페식 조식도 한번 먹었는데 1인당 10파운드치고는 괜찮았습니다. 방에 다리미와 옷솔도 있고, 욕실용품은 록시땅으로 제공됩니다. USB충전 콘센트도 하나 있습니다. 그밖에 일반 콘센트도 3개나 있어 편리하게 썼습니다. 주방에는 세제도 있구요. 침대는 시몬스인데 잠이 잘 왔습니다^^ 샤워가운과 슬리퍼는 없습니다만, 욕실에 타올 건조대가 있어서 수건 뽀송하게 잘 썼습니다. 손수건 등 작은 손빨래도 밤새 잘 말랐구요. 다이소에서 2천원짜리 슬리퍼 사가서 잘 신었습니다. 크롬웰로드 쪽 방은 좀 교통소음이 있습니다. 고속버스도 지나가는 길이라 밤에까지 소음이 이어집니다. 저희는 level 3 즉, 우리나라식으로 4층 방이라 거슬릴 정도는 아니었지만 예민한 분들은 신경쓰이실 듯 하니 뒤편 방을 요구하세요. 그렇지만 햇빛은 더울 정도로 들어와서 좋았습니다. 또 난방을 벽걸이 에어컨으로 하는데, 소음이 신경쓰이긴 했습니다. 에어컨 리모컨이 있으면 좋을텐데, 그건 아쉽네요. 그래도 숙소는 1월이었는데도 무척 따뜻하게 썼습니다. 민박이나 저렴한 숙소 사용한 사람들은 런던 춥다고 하던데, 저희는 준비해간 핫팻 그대로 다 가져와야해서 후회했습니다. 프론트 직원들 항상 인사해주고 가방 들어주고 친절합니다.

여러번 런던을 방문하며 여러호텔과 레지던시에 머물러 보았는데 가격대비 최고의 위치, 시설이었슴.글루스터역3분,작년8월 리모델링해 아주깨끗하고 편안했슴.한가지 아쉬운것은 부엌이 full kitchen 이 아니어서 약간 불편했지만 간단하게 음식만들어 먹는데는 전혀 문제없슴. 레지던시지만 로비공간과 공용공간또한 아주훌륭함.

프레이저 호텔은 미니주방이 갖추어져 있어 한국음식을 요리하기 아주 좋고 주변 10분거리에 큰 슈퍼가 있어서 간단히 식사를 해결할 수 있읍니다. tube 는 피카디리 라인과 디스트릭트 라인이 있는 역이 있어서 히드로 공항과 개트윅공항에서 지하철로 연결이 가능합니다. 비지니스, 가족여행 모두 좋은 호텔이라고 추천합니다.

We really wanted to like this property given its close location to the museums and metro. However, aside from the appliances being old and not working (in suite washer/dryer was broken, shower was clogged and flooding, downstairs dryers also all broken), the major issue we had was cleanliness. As I was sitting around late one night, there was a fist sized mouse running about that quickly scurried under the couch. I quickly sought help. Unfortunately, the front desk staff at night did not know what to do and after several requests for help, they finally offered to allow us to switch to another room. Not ideal in the middle of the night with mice running around, but better than sleeping with mice. After packing everything up and moving sleeping kids to the new room, we find that the new room has built in base heaters along the walls. The controls for the one in the bedroom was broken and was permanently set to high (the remaining ones in the sitting room were functional and could be turned off). After contacting the same night staff again multiple times, I finally had one staff member come up to the room to manually turn off the heater for us. Well, after adjusting it, the heater kept on going at full blast, but the staff then claimed that there was a 15 to 30 minute delay from adjusting the heater until when it shuts off. So I waited. It stayed on. The front desk then said they would get the day staff to work on it. They never did. We learned to sleep at 25 degrees Celsius

This property is very nice and the rooms are nice as well. I had a good time , the staff was nice and very helpful. The only thing is they serve continental breakfast and I was under the impression that they serve a regular/ buffet breakfast.

This stay was average. We have tall people in our family so booked a king size bed with a pull out but room we got was a European queen (essentially a double bed size). We asked to move to king and they accommodated but it was below the first floor so there was a lot of walking around noises at night. Needed extra blankets which we got but they had discoloration on them. Also phone didn’t work to call front desk so we had to walk upstairs to ask for something. Air conditioner was impossible to figure out how to set. Morning breakfast was light meal including fruit, yogurt, cheese, pastries, cereal, meal cured meat, apple and orange juice, muffins, coffee and tea (no hot breakfast items). Short walking distance from underground to hotel, Kensington Palace and Natural History Museum are both within short walking distance which was a big plus.

The room was clean, comfortable, and well equipped in the little kitchen area. The neighbourhood is beautiful to walk around. My room was around street level and it was a bit noisy outside in the evening, but thankfully the noise died down and it was fine for sleeping.

Appealing front door. Nice room and room size. Comfortable Bed. Well equipped kitchen. Bathroom is a bit cold.

The staff were incredibly helpful. The room was spacious and clean. Great for a family of 3-4. Very close to a tube stop.

The staff were very communicative and welcoming. There was always someone at the front desk. The room was very clean and spacious. The kitchenette was very convenient as many hotels in the area do not carry a microwave. After leaving another hotel to check into this one, I found my experience quite pleasant. It felt like a well run apartment building rather than a hotel, also had all that one can expect from a well run hotel. The best thing about this hotel, is their helpful staff. I would return without hesitation.

Excellent location just a few minutes walk from a tube station, shops, restaurants, pubs, the Natural History and V&A museums. Walk a wee bit further and you're in Harrods and the heart of Knightsbridge. Deluxe rooms have a great kitchenette with hob, micriwave, sink, kettle, toaster, fridge and washing machine. En suite is well appointed with large feature towel warmer / radiator that keeps room warm and welcoming - waterfall shower is fantastic. Reception staff pleasant and always keen to assist and provide guests with services and welcome visitor advice.

The good: The hotel was in a great location near dining and a subway station. The hotel is showing a little wear but overall was in good condition and the rooms were large for London standards. The bad: we had no hot water (not even luke warm - it was ice cold) first day and the front desk offered no solution stating that the water heater runs out sometimes. Also, on the third night water began poring through our room ceiling flooding the room and soaking our belongings. We were given another room (that wasn’t as nice and smaller) and it was disappointing that no manager ever came to provide an explanation about what happened or even apologize for the inconvenience of having to pack up our belongings (many that were wet) and move at night with our two little kids. Even an offer of a free breakfast would have been enough to make it up to us but it felt like no one cared honestly.
