Overall, we were very pleased with our stay at Manson Place. The apartment was very nice, especially for such an affordable rate in the posh Kensington environment. The building itself is at the end of a dead-end street, lined by lovely flats. This meant the neighborhood was very quiet. Also, the building requires keycard access at night, which adds to a feeling of security. It’s also close to 2 tube stations: South Kensington and Gloucester Road. (S. Kensington is the easier, quicker walk.) Plenty of restaurants nearby; definitely try Muriel’s Kitchen! And the Manson Place staff are incredibly friendly and professional.
Minor quibbles: No washcloths (for us Americans who like using those!), a confounding temperature control system, and all of the doors require doorstops to stay open—but there aren’t enough doorstops in the apartment! Again, these are minor quibbles that certainly didn’t prevent us from enjoying our time in London.
Thanks for a lovely stay!
