"The house is nothing special but the bed was comfortable to sleep in and it was in the location we needed to visit family. The kitchen smelled like something was rotting, I think the bins hadn't been disposed of properly before we arrived. There also weren't any towels even though the advert says there will be. It's an okay place to stay as long as you're not expecting luxury."

"Great location for the Bronte Parsonage Museum - just a 10 minute walk - with the shops and bars/cafes of Main Street just a 3 minute walk. Lovely big park directly opposite. House was small but very clean and bed was comfortable. Only small things really - the kitchen bin would not stay closed, which may have contributed to the slightly musty smell. "Our first impresdion of the reception area was WOW. Beautiful venue with breathtaking grounds. Lovely sun terraces and fantastic restaurant with amazing food. Would recommend. We had an evening meal which was superb and Breakfast was great too. Spa area small but nice enough for a relaxing dip in the pool and steam room, sauna and very small gym but enough for me. My only disappointment was that our room was a club room and accessed via a path to an annexe which did not have the same WOW factor as the main building. The room was very big with large bathroom, large lounge with couch and separate dressing area which was a nice touch and although it had been decorated recently and clean i just had the feeling that it was a bit tired. The furniture was old and the bathroom was very tired and needs to be fully updated. Bed was very soft and bouncy but slept ok. Just loved the place and sad the room was not so first class as the rest of the hotel. Having said that it was acceptable for what we paid."

My hotel room was lovely and spacious, the bed was comfortable and I had great nights sleep. I will definitely plan a return journey … the bar staff were lovely and I’d like to thank Gemma in particular ! "
