"Great place to stay! Love the price! The location is okay - hard to get to of you've never been before - a lot of one way roads so if you pass it you have to turn around. I would definitely consider to stay here again if I needed to. The hotel lobby, room, and lands were very clean. There is an outside pool - one reason we chose to stay here - but we weren't able to swim "due to maintenance" so it was a little upsetting for my smaller crew. 4 stars because there wasn't a notice given prior to arrival that the pool was down. I believe that's something a lot of families look for when booking. Also, the breakfast was great but only cereals, bagels, muffins, yogurt, and fruit. The coffee bar was fantastic though!"

"Property is fine for an overnight if you have plans in the area. It's basic, clean and gets the job done. Hot breakfast was nice. The pool was dark so we didn't use it. Part of the lot is shared with HoJo, but you can drive around the back and park too - don't let the entrance confuse you. It's right behind the MAPCO station. Receptionist wasn't friendly at all, but once we had our room keys we didn't need to interact with her again."

"The staff was wonderful and very helpful. It’s an ideal spot at a great price. A couple little things didn’t work in the room like the phone and the deadbolt for the room to go into the neighboring room where my family was. But overall for the cost and the location, it was well worth it."

"We love this area of Chattanooga, and the old train station and this hotel are pillars of the history of the area. The hotel is very nicely remodeled. We stayed in a King room, but we hope to come back and stay in one of the train cars. The people are so nice - Dian, the head concierge, recognized us from another trip to the area and gave us a bottle of champagne to share in our room. The pool, the patio with fire pits, everything has such a relaxing atmosphere to it. The hotel’s restaurant next door, Elsie’s Daughter was also very good, and you get a 10% discount there if you charge things to your room. The only small thing that bothered me a bit was that there was no breakfast included. There is coffee and pastries in the lobby in the mornings, but everything you get is a separate charge to your room; coffee $3 and up, pastries $3 and up. I don’t think I’ve ever been in a hotel that charged you for a cup of coffee in the lobby. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay immensely. There is also a horse and carriage that runs from that location to take you on a tour of the town. Very nice."

"Very nice room. Comfortable bed and clean linens. Very responsive staff. Our only complaint was the noise from loud vehicles going around the corner. We were on the end right next to the corner. Not any fault of the hotel or staff. If you're a very light sleeper maybe ask for a room further away from the street. Would definitely stay there again!!"
