"The hotel is most certainly not a 5* property. The room was recently refurbished and was the best thing about the hotel. The breakfast was pretty awful. Same repetition everyday. Only 3 types of fresh fruit cut out, same daily. Eggs- boiled or fried or runny scrambled daily. No mixture of decent nuts. Tuna salad for breakfast ?? Really? Same 3 types of cakes, cookies daily. Muffins looked like they were baked in mum's kitchen, not professional at all. Most of the time no brown or sour dough bread. On my last day, at breakfast, I found an olive in my plate with a metal shrapnel which is used to remove the stone still in the olive. I took this to the person in charge at the breakfast desk and he looked at me, said oh sorry and walked off with it. No further comments or acknowledgements about this. If I had eaten it, I would have ripped the inside of my mouth to pieces. I went to the Sauna, they didn't have towels, you have to get a beach towel from the pool side to go to sauna/steam. I used the gym, no towels to dry your face & no clock on the wall. THE MOST IMPORTANT OF ALL- there is construction going on across the road from the hotel, we were NOT INFORMED of this. Our room was facing the construction sound. Even though we couldn't see it, we could hear it and it starts 8am EVERYDAY except Sunday which was too late because we were leaving. 5* is called 5* for a reason. It has to prove it has the standard, this one definitely didn't have the standard."

"Upon arrival the staff explained to me that the bus line 4 stop was just around the corner to travel to downtown Dubrovnik which is only 3 km away. They provided me with a map. They also explained the breakfast and wifi. The hotel has a nice restaurant, has a Studenac store less than 200 meters away. One minor detail is that my room had only two electric outlets, one being for the TV. For me that was fine but for someone with multiple devices that might be a relevant detail. 5 star experience. Highly recommended."

"A 3 star hotel with amazing sea views from the balconies, restaurants, and their own very long Beach Front property, You've got to love it!!! You can watch the sunset over the water from the beach, the bar, or your own balcony. A short walk from a street, that is closed to cars, lined with restaurants, shops and a children's playground, which is up from the public beach. Easy to get to the old city by a public bus that stops right in front of the hotel. It also has a great breakfast buffet included with the price of the room. Away from the hectic old city, I thought it was a great find for Dubrovnik ."

"This hotel was an excellent choice for a trip with kids. The activities center for children was a huge success for kids of all ages. There are a lot of options in that building for kids of all ages. The buffet breakfast and dinner had a lot of food options. I highly recommend upgrading to the half board because eating out in Dubrovnik is fairly costly. The pool area was great. The bus to town was easy to navigate. You can purchase bus tickets right at the hotel. The hotel is about 45 minutes from the airport. We called the hotel to arrange transport which worked out great! The rooms were great, well maintained and roomy. We had our three boys in an adjoining room. Highly recommend this hotel for anyone traveling with kids."

"Disappointed that entire rooftop was reserved for a private party on our final evening and we had no notice about that until we went up to enjoy it. Secondly our dining reservation was cancelled one night at a restaurant we had hoped to dine at due to the same large party blocking it. We should have been notified about these “blocks” upon check in so that we could have adjusted our itinerary. Or at the very least been compensated for our loss in enjoying all of the amenities."
