I had a very nice stay at Brand Plaza Hotel in Glendale. The hotel has a charming and classic feel, and the room was clean, comfortable, and nicely maintained. The location is excellent, with plenty of restaurants, shops, and places to explore nearby. The staff was friendly and helpful, which made the stay even more enjoyable. Overall, I had a great experience and would definitely consider staying here again when I visit Glendale.
I've been staying here for over 10 years. Other than there are no elevators and lots of stairs the place is very clean and in walking distance to everything you need. I can stay in a higher end hotel no problem but I continue to stay at here.
Clean room! Comfortable bed. Beautiful place. Bathroom was a good size. Wish it had an elevator but I get that it’s an old building. Will definitely stay here again.
The room was very clean and well organized. Nice furniture. Nice furnishings. Nice! People should just know that there's a steep staircase to come into the lobby and if you're not ready for that, it could be a little startling. However, the staff was great in helping me with my bags, get up the stairs and back down. I thought it was a good place to stay and I would stay here again.
Excellent location with a ton of restaurants and shopping all within walking distance. Cute boutique hotel with friendly staff and easy parking right across the street. The beds were very comfortable. Would stay there again if I was in town.
The only positive I can see about this property is the location on the main street. The property looks in very bad shape, and the air conditioning does not cool properly, so it gets warm in the room. If you have luggage, you will have a hard time to take those to the 2nd floor because there is no elevator. In addition, they do not provide the basics for hygiene (soap). On top of that, you have to pay for parking far from the property. I dont recommend this place to anyone.
Cozy, charming and clean room with super comfy bed and well maintained temperature in the room. Great bathroom too. Staff could not be nicer or more helpful. The only thing really is the lack of an elevator. Recommend!
Must be in pretty good health to stay here. You enter the main door and are greeted by stairs. I think there are renovations going on, not sure. Surroundings are unusual, almost “vintage” making up for all the steps; no elevators. Bed was comfortable. First night I noticed something that looked like bugs on my bed after waking up; maybe seeds? The other thing was I had to buy air freshener for the bathroom, even before I used the toilet it smelled bad. Furniture was”vintage” one drawer wouldn’t stay shut, had to call front desk for help with the TV. Guess it was my age (just turned 70). They had public parking lots for their guests, ($8/night). Nevertheless, enjoyed my stay in Glendale.
Liked that Hotel was close to local restaurants and bars. Hotel and hotel rooms are on the second floor of building which has no elevator only flight of stairs. Other than that, enjoyed our stay.
The hotel was clean and well maintained. The bed was comfortable as well. The gentleman who helped with check-in was very nice and accommodating. I don’t remember his name but he was there the evening of 10/19 when I checked in. The hotel is in a good neighborhood with lots to walk to. Definitely check out Porto’s bakery and cafe a few doors down.
Now the not so great stuff- there isn’t an elevator. I missed this when booking and wasn’t thrilled because I have a disability, so it was tough and painful going up and down the stairs with and without my luggage. That was my mistake, so I get that. Just beware if stairs are an issue for you and well. Also the parking lot is a few blocks away, so I had to walk to get my car, drive it to load my luggage into my car. I lucked out that there was en empty spot in front on the building. There isn’t a loading zone either. The parking is $8/night, which isn’t that bad, just letting you know.
Overall I would stay there again if there was an elevator since that was my only issue. It was a good stay despite that and again, that was my mistake not seeing that beforehand.
