As long as you know what you're getting into, this is a decent option. It is more like a hostel, with shared bathroom and kitchenette. No a/c nor elevator, which was fine for us. The beds were comfortable, but don't expect luxury. We stayed for one night and chose this location for its proximity to Union Station. The area to and from Union Station was walkable for us and included pleasant scenery and points of interest. Being in the heart of Little Tokyo, there are plenty of restsurants, shops and sights surrounding this location.
