It was a nice clean place parking was a little tricky in a large vehicle but nice and safe. The mattresses were my only compliant. Mattresses aren’t that expensive in a double size I would suggest buying new ones .

The own is very accommodating

The place is decent. The furniture is very old and not study. However, it is a great place to stay when visiting LA. The owner is very accommodating

TERRIBLE AND NASTY

RUN FOR THE HILLS!! OLD MATTED, GROSS, DIRTY SHEETS WITH ANOTHER’S HAIR, WE SLEPT ON TOP OF TOWELS. REFRIGERATOR DID NOT WORK. OWNER SUGGESTED WE CONTACT THE NIGHBOR AND PUT OUR FOOD IN THE NIGHBOR'S HOUSE TILL WE GOT A WORKING REFRIGERATOR. USED REFRIGERATOR WAS INSTALLED AT 9 PM, BUT COULD NOT USE UNTIL NEXT DAY. DISHWASHER DID NOT WORK: OWNER SAID THR WAS “BAD ELECTRICAL CONNECTIONS” UNDER THE KITCHEN SINK. WASHING MACHINE WATER DRAINED INSIDE THE KITCHEN SINK WHR WE HAD STRAWBERRIES IN A COLLENDAR. GARBAGE DUMPSTER WITHIN FT OF BACK DOOR AND TO THE RIM OF OVERFLOWING TRASH. IT APPEARED THE DUMPSTER GETS EMPTIED PERHAPS ONCE A MONTH. FLIES EVERYWHERE AND INSIDE HOUSE. A/C DID NOT COOL THE HOUSE PROPERLY. I RENTED THE HOUSE FOR MY DAUGHTER TO PREP FOR HER WEDDING. IT WAS SO HOT INSIDE THE HOUSE, THAT WE HAD TO GO GET READY AT THE VENUE INSEAD. THE BATHTUB WAS DIRTY AND APPEARED IT HAD NOT BEEN CLEANED IN MONTHS. WE LAID TOWELS ON THE TUB PRIOR TO SHOWERING. IT APPEARS THE PROPERTY HAS MANY ELELCTRICAL ISSUES. I SPECIFICALLY BOOKED THIS PLACE BECZ IT HAD A KITCHEN AND INTENDED 2 BAKE MY DAUGHTER'S WEDDING CAKE. ON THE DAY OF BAKING, WE REALIZED THE OVEN DID NOT WORK AND HAD TO GET A WEDDING CAKE AT WALLMART!! THE CAST IRON BURNERS ON THE STOVE TOP DO NOT MATCH THE PROPER FITTING, SO WHEN MY HUSBAND WAS COOKING, WE REALIZED THE PROBLEM AND IN TRYING TO HOLD DOWN THE BURNER, A POT HOLDER CAUGHT ON FIRE! ARGUMENTIVE OWNERS.

This Accomodation Doesn't Belong on Hotels.com

I am not sure 'nice' is the first word that comes to my mind when describing the "Nice 2 Bedroom in Burbank". While it was adequate as a shelter from the outdoors, I don't think it belongs on hotels.com. First and foremost, be aware of the small print 'cleaning fee'. Despite getting an e-mail confirmation with one price listed, I was surprisingly charged over $100 more for a 'cleaning fee'. As the owner said when I complained, 'this is not a hotel'. She was right. No one to check you in when you arrive. No one to make the beds each day or give you clean towels. The small room (no closet) I slept in had a overly used mattress that sank in. The tiny living room had one small Walmart-type couch that didn't fit but a couple guests. Kitchen allowed for cooking which was a plus. Overall, if you are looking for mediocre accommodations near some of the main Hollywood attractions, this is for you. Just be prepared for the extra 'hidden' charges.

Quiet, comfortable accomodations

We enjoyed our stay at this house. There was good room for what we needed, it was a quiet neighbourhood and it was a good price. It was easy to get to the freeway from the house, and there were shopping possibilities close by. The sofa was a bit small for two people, but otherwise comfortable.

Old property in need of updating.

In order of importance: poor ac (only cooled 4 degrees lower than outside), old plumbing (used toilet once and it clogged, no plunger), weak wifi. Left two days early for a hotel and owner was argumentative with receiving feedback on stay, very uncomfortable and lost several hundred dollars (non-refundable).
