The hotel is historic and in the middle of the action of Hollywood Boulevard. We were able to walk to the Hollywood Bowl. The staff was pleasant and helpful, the room was clean, and the dining options in the hotel and nearby were plentiful and varied. Thank you for such a great experience. We will be back!

I love the nostalgia of the hotel and all the old photos. The front desk staff and concierge was very helpful 🤗 The guys at the valet always asked if wanted a water. The pool was fantastic! So old Hollywood vibe and the food at the cafe there was great 👍 We did eat in the restaurant, but wish it had more selections for the $$$. The room was nice and beds were very comfortable 😁

We enjoyed our time at this hotel. It was clean and comfortable and the pool area was a highlight. The food at Tropicana was excellent (but very VERY pricey) and the gym was surprisingly well equipped for an older hotel. We would recommend.

Had a wonderful stay here and can not fault this property. The staff where friendly and helpful. The room was immaculate and omg the pillows are divine. Would definitely return to this property. Oh yes and did I mention the pillows wow never had such beautiful pillows in a hotel ever 😍

Perfect location for a short stay, seeing Hollywood Blvd. Lots of souvenier shops. We were there to attend a concert...NOTE: There is easy transportation to the Bowl and The Ford, within a block or two...at no cost. our Room? very interesting view onto the Blvd. However the Air Conditioning was extremely loud...we don't complain about noise...and in this case the hotel tried to fix it...but couldn't during our stay. Front desk was very helpful as were the Valet folks...OH, NOTE, Park your vehicle yourself, should you choose, just across the street from valet entrance...price is very...nice. The main lobby takes you back in time in a good way. Gables was not open when we were there (sunday/monday). Again, the staff really made this a good visit.

When we first checked in our family was greeted by the nicest vallet and also the nicest front desk woman. I was able to speak to her and we had great conversation. The hotel room was great and comfortable.
