Loved the swim out room! Jose at surfo hooked it up and was so awesome. Victor at the vallet was extremely helpful and told us all about some great local places. We will definitely be staying there again!

Perfectly adequate hotel

Krystal Grand was perfectly adequate for our needs. We spent Christmas 2018 with a party of 12, ranging from a 5 year old, several tweens, adults in our 40s, and three seniors. This small hotel catered to ALL of us. It is located right on the beach and it is not so overwhelmingly large that you would get lost. The food is avarage, so if you are a foodie, please do some research and venture away from the hotel. (There is amazing food in San Jose del Cabo.) Although, I thought the buffets, cafes, and restaurants to be quite practical as food and drink are always available. San Jose del Cabo's main plaza is only about 8 minutes away in a taxi (or you can rough it on public bus that runs along the highway) for shopping, dining, and exploring. The view from our ocean view room was spectacular and the staff kept it clean. I thought that the hotel was moderately and fairly priced compared to other glitzy all-inclusive resorts. So if you book here, be aware that it will be without the uber posh feel of other more expensive hotels.

The resort was amazing! The staff of the resort were very welcoming and accommodating! If you are looking to relax on vacation this is the place!

Beautiful location to spend the Holiday. Food was pretty decent. Service at the different dining locations was general longer than I'd prefer but we have children and are not interested in a 'dining experience.' The beach was great and the kids got to play in the sand and the smaller waves. The adult and older kids did some body surfing which was so fun. My biggest complaint is that the pools were colder than the ocean! There was only a 2h window during the heat of the day that you could comfortably be in any of the pools. Some of them - the Skybar - were frigid! The hot tubs were not working at all either. The cold pools were a huge disappointment to our family and I will likely not book again because of this.

Great staff Nathalli at the VIP Lounge was our favorite employee on the hotel, also Rosario from the SPA did a great job with my massage super relaxing, would be coming back for sure!

Property was clean and the staff was polite and helpful. Activities were limited and they need more staff to keep all restaurants open every day. There was no buffet for lunch any of the 7 days we were there.

Gran Krystal was very clean. Usually that’s the first thing i like to notice. Staff was wonderful. Food was good. Husband and I were there from 11/4-11/10 and we loved it..

It's a beautiful property with a WONDERFUL staff! Everyone is so nice and friendly and always willing to make your stay great! Loved the Coffee Cafe--staff was awesome! The activities staff was really fun too--would have like more nightly entertainment, but I think the occupancy was too low when we were there :( The food was really good too, not really excellent. Would have loved more local fresh fish instead of Salmon or Tilapia for dinner, and would have loved Traditional Mexican Food in the Mexican Restaurant. But in general-we love this hotel for its location to Surfing, and the Wonderful Staff! Thanks for a great trip!

Great resort, highly recommend. The swim out rooms are the best! Its just outside the city which is nice a lot less touristy. The ocean tides are rough so only recommend adult swimmers if you decide to hit the ocean. If i had to knit pick the resort for my 4 star is some of the food in was subpar. Overall wonderful experience.

Overall the property was nice, decently kept up and had the usual amenities one would expect from an all inclusive resort in Cabo. The food was excellent, but saying the service was slow is being kind. That's all the good things I have to say about our stay. Now the bad news. Not two minutes into checking in you will literally be harrassed by a 'gentlman' (sarcasm) trying to sell you excursions. I told him no politely at least 5 times. No big deal. The next day my wife and I went to go for a walk into town to go to the supermarket, the same 'gentleman' accused us of lying about going to the market and insisted we were going to the nearby hotels to listen to their timeshare and excursion pitches. He cotinuously me and my wife for calling us liars

Check in was long and frustrating. Checked in, which took about 15 minutes, and then was told to wait and come back to the front desk in 30 minutes because the room wasn’t ready. no big deal, had a drink came back in 30 minutes to the same person. She starts the whole process again, I try to tell her if done all of the paper work 30 min prior. Nope all over again! Geez. The couple beside me checked in about 5 minutes (total). From the time we arrived till we got to our room was about an hour. Way to long!

Our trip was going great until our second to last day I started getting extremely ill. I was bed ridden the last 2 days of our trip unable to eat drink and extreme amounts of pain. My husband went to get me Powerade, crackers, medicine, aloe, & a thermometer and everything was 3x the normal cost in a normal store so he had to WALK 2 blocks to get me what I needed. The morning after we landed in the states I ended up in the emergency room with salmonella poisoning. They think it may have been from the ice in the pina coladas, strawberry daiquiris, & the food. I drank bottled water but I didn’t even think about the ice. For a resort that caters to foreigners you would assume they would take all safety precautions considering the price. I was really dissapointed how my trip ended, we will not be back nor will we reccomend to others.

Desde que llegas te reciben con mucha amabilidad y buen servicio las piscinas son lo mejor y sobretodo la playa privada es un excelente hotel, lo recomiendo al 100%

After reading all the reviews, I was torn on what to believe and what not to believe, and ended up here. We loved our stay and the resort was wonderful. Sure, if we nit-picked we could find fault, but vacations are for fun in the sun and super yummy food and the Krystal Grand had all that and more. Shout out to my new friend, ViriDianna!

El hotel está increíble, las instalaciones están mucho mejor en persona, la atención es excelente todos son muy amables, la habitación es muy linda y limpia, lo único que no me gustó es que a las 20:00 hrs. ya no se puede acceder a las albercas, pero de ahí en fuera todo excelente así como la comida! Sin duda regresaría en próximas vacaciones, me encantó!!!
