Air conditioning worked well, we did visit during a hotter summer period. Rooms were very comfortable, clean and well appointed. The bathroom was large and very clean, and quite handsome. The view was nice. It was quiet outside during our stay. The location is perfect and very convenient to walk all over Lyon. The carpets in the staircases are showing a bit of age and wear, but that did not detract from the overall stay. Would absolutely stay here again.

Hotel Silky is perfectly located in Lyon, just a short walk away from the main street. We had a lovely room with a balcony, which was wonderful to stand on in the evening. The room was clean and well maintained. The staff were really friendly and helpful and overall we really enjoyed our time at Hotel Silky.

Staff was good, the problem we had was they give us a room that was occupied with card problem. They corrected the problem but we had to go 4 times to reactivate the card! The air conditioning was a problem even after going to the reception and they supposedly increased it. We were there for 2 nights and the breakfast was good.

A charming, relatively small hotel right in the heart of Lyon. We booked a long weekend in Hotel Silky on our way to the Alps as we had always wanted to explore Lyon. The hotel is in the perfect location nestled between the Soan and Rhone rivers, each being a 5 minute walk away, and right next to the old town. The hotel staff were all really helpful on check-in and throughout our stay. the rooms were clean and had everything you need for a short stay. There is no car park, but the staff pointed us in the direction of the nearest secure underground car park next to the river (5 min walk). The hotel is in a lovely small square where you can sit after a days sight seeing and watch the world go by. The continental breakfast was also good value for money. Would definitely recommend and would not hesitate to stay at Hotel Silky again in the future.

The location is excellent for shopping and sightseeing. The staff are friendly and very helpful, especially in assisting us with our delayed luggage. There are also a few tables and chairs where we enjoyed some relaxing time watching the street, along with complimentary coffee and sparkling water.
