Check in was very slow but the lady was very nice. The room was extremely dated and the shower was awful.
The place was terrible. The rooms smelled bad, the halls smelled bad. The carpet was nasty. The refrigerator didn’t work, there no working phone in the room, it was awful.
The check-in process was fine, but the lobby smelled like pot. This hotel is older and has been allowed to run completely down with dirty carpet, scuffed paint, and ratty pillows. Our room door was damaged at the bottom as if it had been kicked in or chewed.
Stay far away from this place... Absolutely disgusting. Terrible service. Bugs everywhere, stained sheets, carpet ripped up, lights pulled off walls. Smelled terrible. Just don't do it.
Place was dirty and smelled bad. Room had no night stand wall cord hanging on the floor. Toilet kept running. We we not refunded our money and we did not stay. It was that disgusting
Lost our reservation. Didn’t get any kind of notice that the hotel was being bought by another hotel and property was in horrible condition. Hotel stunk and was dirty. Room was in terrible condition and stunk. No TV in room. Had to get staff to bring us one. Bathroom was gross. No hot water. Place looked very unsafe. Would not have stayed here but could not find another room in town. Awful experience.
Unfortunately, this location is seriously dilapidated. I'm sure the staff tried to make it as presentable as possible but I was extremely disappointed and underwhelmed. Stink bugs are everywhere, towels and linens are thin, dingy, and stained. The walls could use fresh paint, and the bathtub needs deep cleaning. I was out most of the day and only used the room for sleeping and showering, however, I went and purchased my own bed and bath linens, bath mat, and pillows. I only stayed because I everywhere else was either fully booked or conditions/reviews were comparable to this location.
Overall, this stay was not worth $75 per night (more like $30-40), and while the staff was friendly, I would never stay here again nor recommend it to anyone.
This property is terrible!!!! I arrived at 4pm, an hour after checkin time. The front desk clerk Freddie was very nice. Went to the room. Opened the door and saw dirty towels on the bathroom floor. Walked into the bedroom and saw the bed had been slept in, shoes on the floor, clothes on the night stand and trash in the trash can. Went back to the front desk. Freddie was very attentive to my problem. He went to the room and came back. Advised it was a late check out and housekeeping hadn’t cleaned the room yet. Moved me to another room . Went to that room to find out it had 2 queen beds, not the king I reserved. Called to the front desk. Freddie was very nice and brought the key to me and opened the door for me. Started unpacking and noticed the tv wasn’t working, the ac was on 78- very stuffy air, 2 lamps didn’t have light bulbs, no microwave or refrigerator, full length mirror had a huge stain across the front and the bed did not have a fitted sheet, only the top sheet. I was too tired to move again. Was laying down and heard someone trying to get in the room. Went to the door to find a man saying this was his room. Within minutes I had a rude woman show up asking how I got checked in. Advised Freddie checked me in and that I would not be moving again. Never heard from her again. Hotel reeks of marijuana. Shabby carpet. Requested late check out at checkin. 11:30 rude housekeeping supervisor banging on door asking if I was checking out. Advised had a late checkout.
Very disappointing. Checked in and found the room had no security lock. The bed was unacceptable. Person working the front desk was not nice when he learned we were leaving. Felt very unsafe so left before staying the night. The grounds were not very well kept. Others in the area seemed to make it unsafe to spend the night in addition to the inability to secure the room. Very unhappy with the whole experience. Money was not refunded.
This place was bug infested dirty the stairway looked like a dog run hair and filth and the smell was horrible we didn't stay bugs on the wall and floor tried to get a refund and not having any luck with that since we booked online the lady behind the desk was not much help either I know all Red Roof are not like this sad
We always stay at this Red Roof. The staff is always so friendly and helpful with my mom who is disabled. They always help me to the best of their ability. The rooms are clean. We will stay again.
No where was it shown thru Expedia they were renovating the property. VERY OLD and STUNK!! Staff was VERY, VERY nice and understanding, refunding my money. We stay elsewhere. If we've got there at dark, it would have been a horror movie. Scary Nasty.
