The room was very clean and the bed comfortable. We had a basic double and it is very small, but perfect for a few days, very near Atocha train station. If we were to stay longer, we would likely book a larger room. The basic rooms face the inner courtyard. So while they are smaller and no balcony, they are very quiet, perfect after a long day of travel. We didn’t get the breakfast buffet, but the free tea and coffee was a nice plus.
