"This hotel is quite charming 😃 ... it could be said to be 'boutique' nowadays ... although old in style and decor, it has been maintained beautifully and it's original style provides it's attractiveness and atmosphere ... it couldn't have a better location with impressive views of spectacular Burgos Cathedral and proximity to the appealing old winding streets of the old town just 2 minutes away on foot ... my room was immaculately clean and comfortable with a fabulous view ... breakfast provided a wide variety of choices with great service and the reception staff Carmen and Gabriel deserve a special mention for being the epitome of professionalism, giving a warm friendly welcome and a huge amount of local knowledge, tips and hints to enhance your stay ... I cannot recommend it highly enough ... although graded a 3 star I'd say this hotel is a little 'diamond' 😀 ... thankyou Crisol Mesón del Cid ... David"
