"The staff at the reception, including the manager, were not very helpful with providing the right information. There was noticeable passive aggressiveness in their responses and a general sense of nonchalance. On the night we checked in, I was told that breakfast and dinner were included in my reservation. After dropping our bags, we went to one of the hotel restaurants for dinner since we were quite hungry. However, after the meal we were asked to pay. I mentioned that my reservation covered breakfast and dinner, but the staff explained that it only applied to a specific restaurant. This was never clearly communicated to us at reception during check-in. I immediately called reception to clarify the situation, but they said there was nothing they could do and advised me to speak with the manager the following day. The next morning, the manager was initially friendly, but after a brief conversation in their language with one of the reception staff, his attitude noticeably changed. He became passive aggressive and insisted there was nothing they could do. I explained that if the correct information had been given at check-in, the situation would not have happened. He said he would investigate, but there was no follow-up, feedback, or any form of compensation. Even at the designated restaurant, we were still required to pay for water during dinner, which made the package even more confusing. Overall, the experience was disappointing and I wouldn’t recommend this hotel."

"We stayed four days at Moulay. The property was clean and the staff were helpful. The breakfast was very good. Our room did not have a frig, ice was not easily available. We expect to manage our own cold drinks. One day the water did not work for any guest. The location was great. Eight minutes walk to square and five minutes walk to Place Mellah, a common meeting point and road. We would stay again "

"I only stayed for one night and did not spend much time at the hotel. It was clean. Bed was a bit hard. No conditioner in shower and no hairdryer. Asked at reception and the hairdryer was already in another room. There are only six rooms. The front desk had no change for payment. They were helpful with transport arrangement to airport. Location was ok. "

"My stay at Free People Riad was the absolute highlight of my trip to Marrakech. It is a destination in its own right. First up, its such a peaceful escape. The streets of the Medina are famous for being loud and chaotic, which I loved exploring, but the moment you step inside Free People and close the door behind you, the noise just vanishes. It is a stunning, quiet escape from the city, and while the souks are a wonderful experience, I found myself really looking forward to heading back to the Riad just to decompress. With the property itself; the rooms are beautifully appointed and spotlessly clean, making it a really relaxing environment to return to. The breakfast is equally lovely, and I really appreciated the flexibility of where to enjoy it; depending on the weather, you can sit in the stunning ground-floor courtyard or head up to the rooftop terrace and sunroom for a beautiful start to the day. Pilar and her team deserve a special mention for being so warm, friendly, and genuinely helpful. They even included a great touch that I’ve never seen elsewhere; Pilar created a WhatsApp group with me, herself, and the concierge. It was a brilliant, practical way to keep in touch, schedule breakfast each morning or access their list of recommended attractions. It was so great to know that they were always just a message away if I needed anything. I will certainly be back to Marrakech, if only to stay at Free People again. "Moustapha was a great help during our stay with many recommendations and tips. The staff were great, breakfast was lovely every morning. About 20min walk from the main square, lovely restaurants all around. Close the the shops and not far to walk to the new city."

"The Riyad was beautiful and very warm and cosy. The staff was amazing. They were on point with everything and were the star of the show. After a day in Marrakech coming back to La Ville Nomade was so soothing, like an oasis. Fantastic place."
