Nice and comfortable stay .

New and nice hotel . Spacious room and bath with complete amenity and good internet WiFi. Receptionists are very helpful. They provide good service and advice on local tour attractions.

Pros: -Newly built and the rooms are clean -The price is reasonable for the facilities -Room change was made after our complaints about the first room quality Cons: -Front desk staff is slow and not energetic -Our first room was without hot water and there was a smell coming up from the drain hole -The water pressure was very noisy whenever other rooms use the toilers

Great service, friendly staff

We were there for 1 night stay but wish that it was longer. The friendly staff, great family room had made the stay very pleasant. Fantastic staff: everyone, from reception to room service to the security were wonderful, kudos to Liyana and Hafizi, they are such an asset! We arrived late afternoon, all tired from the long drive due to bad traffic but Liyana was all smile, greeting us at the reception. She recognised me as i spoke to her on the phone 2 days earlier. That kind of perk me up. Hafizi was all ready and accommodating when i requested to have our 2nd room to be near each other. Though they didn't have breakfast or room service, there a plenty of food place around the area. Hotel is located just a little off the main town but some would enjoy the quiteness and still be near to town. I've been to several boutique hotel in the country but in terms of service, SGI Vacation Club is one of the best! Will definitely be back again

Small price, big service. Highly recommend

Only stayed one night before catching the bus to airport. Upon checking in, the girl at front desk is so nice and friendly, she even showed me to the room. The room is really good, bathroom is huge. It's not far from tourist attractions. Will definitely stay again if I visit Malacca.

Nice hotel with good location

My friend Libby and I loved the hotel, the staff was very friendly, and the location was good, it was just about a 15-20 minute walk to many nice locations such as Jonker Street, shopping malls and some massage places around, and the shower pressure was super amazing. The only thing is, remember to pack your toothpaste because the hotel does not provide you with free toothpaste if you forget :)

Amazing value!

Can’t recommend this place enough! Friendliest, most helpful staff of any hotel I’ve stayed at ever! Room was unbelievably clean...I actually went looking for dust or dirt and couldn’t find any. Big room and huge bathroom! There was a rainfall shower head with great water pressure. Also, I’m 6’4 (190cm) and for once I didn’t have to squat down or get on my knees to get my hair wet! Great wifi connection, in room safe, mini fridge, flat screen tv...everything you could possibly need. I have to mention the staff again...from the security guards to the front desk staff to the cleaning staff, I don’t think there was a single time I passed someone without being greeted with a big smile and hello! Honestly, the manager here should teach courses on how a hotel should be run. I can only hope the rest of the hotels on my trip are half as welcoming as this place!

Stayed in a family suite for 2 nights. There was 2 queen bed and a sofa bed. The room was well-equipped with a pantry area, 2 bath rooms and was very spacious. The hotel facilities and decorations all look new. Overall this is quite a good value for $$ stay.

Our 2nd stay, it just got better.

It was our second & it got better. This time our complement goes to Jackie, previous was Eric. Their hospitality make us feel at home. Inherent that the hotel is small, not really that very small, & they are new, I hope they can maintain this service level & existing facility. Congratulation guys. Location isnt ideal, require about 5 minutes walk to nearby shopping centre & 10 minutes walk to historical site. If walking isnt your option, UBERing in the city is sooooo affordable.
