Dear Eric, My colleagues at the reception have communicated their complaint to me when leaving our hotel. They have also forwarded me your email about this complaint.My name is Sergio Barroso, I have been the hotel manager for 15 years.I'm honestly surprised with his email and complaint.Regarding your complaint, I inform you that last week, from August 11 to August 20, the Malaga fair was held. Our excellent location, in the heart of the city, means that we have clients who enjoy these 24-hour holidays. However, I am not aware that you have telephoned our reception to report the noise, which, according to what you told us, comes from the next room (22).If we had known him, our night receptionist would have immediately acted guaranteeing his sleep.About the noise from the outside door, no client has ever told us anything in the 18 years that I have been running this small hotel.Finally, I explain that on Sunday night, the fire alarm went off. Since we received the call, we verified by our cameras that it was a false alarm.Immediately our colleague (night guard) went to check the state of the entire hotel. He turned off the alarm in no more than 20 minutes. This procedure is for your safety and complies with Spanish law. We can't turn off the alarm without checking the entire hotel.In short, I am sorry that I was not able to rest as we would have liked.
