Nice place, looks recently refurbished as rooms were very comfortable, new carpets etc. Does not do food on Mondays and Tuesday, but good restaurants locally. Staff pleasant and helpful. Would definitely stay again

Amazing staff, food of a high standard. Rooms especially windows need repainting, updating .Noisy if windows are left open. But I would highly recommend. Will be staying again.

Amazing

Just booked this last minute as we were at a music festival just down the road from second one I was met with the most friendly staff I was shown round everywhere then taken to my lovely room perfect. When we arrived back we were again met with a lovely staff member and our sleep was amazing highly recommended must stay here if your in the area

It’s a very convenient hotel for Maldon, which is a lovely town and the restaurant is excellent. The staff are also incredibly nice.

Friendly staff, clean and welcoming. Two things let our stay down, bedroom was small so bed pushed against wall with access on one side and unfortunately our room backed on to the boiler room that had something cutting in and out all night . A different room and all would have been good .

This hotel is a real find. It is 5 star. From Clare at check in, with Aron who carried our bags up 2 flights of stairs (the building is 300 years old and the owners cannot get permission to install a lift!), to Piotr and Aron who provided excellent service during the evening meal and last but not least to Emma who looked after us at breakfast. The selection of dishes on the evening meal menu was excellent and the quality of the food coming out of the kitchen was second to none. If you are visiting the Heybridge Maldon region for any reason stat in this hotel!

We had a fantastic stay at Le Bouchon. Our room was lovely and clean with a big bed which was very comfortable. Full english breakfast in the morning was one of the best I have had! All the staff were very friendly and helpful.

Birthday Stay

From the moment we arrived the staff were warm and welcoming, they showed us around the hotel and stored away our luggage ready for check in later, as we were off out. When we went to our room, we was pleasantly surprised with the facilities and everything was spotless. We dined in the hotel and and the food was exceptional. A great stay and will definitely return.
