We heard great reviews for this hotel from friends in Manado, so we booked a room for our stay. I’m giving five stars because I believe my friends. However, a volcano meant that our flight turned around 30 minutes before we were supposed to land in Manado. We couldn’t use our reservation. I wrote to Expedia and the hotel to cancel the reservation. Expedia said they couldn’t refund the money because they needed to first receive the consent of the hotel and the hotel didn’t respond the hotel responded to me but also didn’t refund the money.

Conveniently located next to the hospital, which is why I chose this place needing unexpected care last minute. This hotel needs a face lift and feels very tired. Very dissapointed to not have hot water in the room, expecially being sick and having gone without a hot shower for 3 months now. Breakfast was very simple and bland, i would reccomend skipping it and going out. Overall, unless you need to go to the hospital I would not reccommend this hotel.

An older but elegant property in central Manado. Room (deluxe) was large. Breakfast buffet very good with many options. Pool very scenic, but could use more seating. Hotel was convenient to Megamall and other shopping. Decor was attractive, and maintenance issues were minor.

The rooms were big and well furnished, albeit a bit dated. The furniture was cool and I got the impression it was handmade Indonesian furniture. There was a kettle, safe (although I couldn't get it to lock), and a fridge. Toiletries provided too and towels etc. The water was only hot for one shower and there were calcium deposits all over the shower head. The rest of the bathroom was real roomy and done with very nice granite. The wifi was pretty good, sufficient. There were english channels (hbo and hits) plus european news in english. My room smelled like smoke on the first night, so i assumes it was the nighboring room and also there was one of those doors that if unlocked, and your neighbor unlocks too, creates a door between rooms and the voices def travelled through that door despite it being closed. But there was central air and an ac unit on the wall that was seperate to that, so two forms of air conditioning you could control. The staff offered to bring air freshners. The other nights it was fine (no bad smell). Theres an italian restaurant there (pretty good) and the room service food was good. The front desk was certainly nice and helpful. The security guards however made me feel uncomfortable. Anytime they saw me they puffed out their chests, clinched their fists, and stared at me like I had kicked their family dog. Whenever they appraoched me was more like a boxer walking to face his opponent before a prizefight, than a guest in a hospitality setting.

Nice Lobby
I stayed here so I could have a comfortable place with my wife as we both work online. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The wifi is slow (4.2/Mbps), the bath water was brownish, and the AC was weak. Our neighbors were very loud. The pool was not operational at the time of writing. They gave us free breakfast and a late check out, which was greatly appreciated.

Enjoyed my stay
I enjoyed my stay here. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was large with comfortable bed. The breakfast buffet had plenty to choose from. The location was good for my purpose. My only complaint is that my room didn't have hot water and no convenient place to plug in my computer. But the price was good so I would stay there again.

Don’t stay there if you want a good afternoon nap
I stayed for 2 nights and get a room on the 8th fl. Nice sea view. Cleaned room. All the staffs was very sweet. The worst part is they had pool party event on the 6th fl while I’m staying there. It started in the afternoon till night. Their live music was so loud. I can hear very well inside my room, it disturb my afternoon nap. The next day when I was check-out, I saw anletter from the management that announce they eill have another pool party event on that day also. And they asking for the understanding from the guest for the unconvinience. It’s not fair, I think they need sound proof glass for their building if they always intend to having pool party. For me, I won’t be back to stay there anymore

Good but a little run down
Very nice people. Hotel is good but getting a little run down. Needs some work. But at least it’s clean. The restaurant is good for breakfast but really slow for dinner.

This is the nicest hotel we’ve ever stayed at. Amazed they could offer such a low price! The room was spacious with a beautiful view. The breakfasts were grand. And this hotel is a quick walk to the port where you boat to Bunaken Island!

The service was impeccable, and the breakfast is excellent as many other reviewers have mentioned. Nice swimming pool with a view, welcome drink, fruits and chocolate/cookies in the room, free high tea in the evening.

Love this hotel especialy the friendliness of the staff. They worked professionally and couldn't help myself to acknowledge their hospitality when I was having my breakfasts. On my visit next year, definitely, will stay in this hotel where I found so handy to shops etc. During my 2 weeks holiday in Manado, I stayed 8 days in this hotel.

Great location, easy access to all things Manado
Aryaduta is located in Boulevard, which is ideal since the beach, Siloam Hospital (connecting door at the lobby), MTC (for electronics) and Manado Town Square (Mantos) are all nearby and within walking/short taxi distance away. The hotel is a bit seasoned, but that doesn't discount the fact of how well it have stood over the years. Internet is a bit spotty, but everything else is pretty much on-point if you're looking for a place to stay for first time visitors to Manado

Stay here before Bunaken Island visit
We had one night stay in this hotel on the 25.26th August before heading of to Bunaken Island (marina is literally 5 mins walk from hotel), had a very grand Entrance area, the rooms however smelt musty and very tired and Bathroom needs replacing altogether, if I had paid full price for a night I would have been disappointed, Breakfast was average catered for Indonesians and Chinese.Pool was slimy not sure how clean it was, not sure if I would stay here again.

A busy conference hotel
The Aryaduta Hotel in Manado was very busy but the staff went out of their way to meet our needs as much as they could. The hotel is geared for conferences not tourists and sourcing tourist activities was a bit of a challenge. However we were directed to a driver who was very good. English levels were basic but enough to get by, and the food was reasonable in quality and price.

I didn't have a comfort sleep and daily activities in the room was not easy because of the AC (aircondition). Getting sweat in 3 nites of my stay at Aryaduta Hotel Manado was not in my satisfaction. Knowing that in this dry season we need a cool room and pleasant stay. I was very dissapointed. I am sorry to say Aryaduta Htl Manado, for room temparature minimum is 16 degrees not 24-25.

Great location and potential, but rough edges
This hotel is perfectly located in the centre of Manado with great views of the skyline and sea in almost all directions. The rooms are very spacious and the service is excellent. Good range of foods for breakfast. However, there are a few minor irritations - the furniture in the room shows a little wear and the rooms are not perfectly clean (eg, I twice found a cockroach in the bathroom). The lifts are very slow and chaotic, with the call buttons and up/down indicators lighting up randomly. Nevertheless, this place is good value for the price and I would stay here again.

Hotel Is old, worn out with dirty bathrooms. Staff are friendly was not effective due to poor management. No towels and limited loungers around the pool and the breakfast was ok but many items never replenished. Look elsewhere.

A very nice hotel within easy reach of restaurants and shopping,friendly staff,impressive lobby with a pianist playing a grand piano,(how many hotels provide that for $80 a night). Huge buffet breakfast ,nice pool area with views to Bunaken island.just do it!

Superb Hotel if you want to be in Manado City!
Superb hotel in the city at very reasonable rate. Staff is very accommodative and helpful. Awesome breakfast spread- local and international spread. The hotel is also within walking distance of the 3 big malls - Mega Mall, MTC and MANTOS. Just do not go across the street for the SPA Massage (they display a big poster outside) as it was a reap-off and will make you more lethargic the next day after the massage (they used too much oil and compromise on the strengths and techniques). Go to Jopie Hairdresser in one of the malls for a hair treatment which will give you an excellent scalp and shoulder massages! The hotel is the best choice I have made for this trip and will certainly recommend that you go for it too!
