San Juan de la Isla is fabulous. The website doesn’t begin to do it justice. It is beautiful beyond words, the employees are kind and helpful, the facilities are a wow and the setting is gorgeous.

This place is nice and quiet and very private. Great place to come get away from the city life. The entrance from the main road is 2 kilometers down a rustic road that might seemed like you’re lost but just keep going till you pass the banana plantation. It’s a beach side property with friendly staff.

Let me first start off by saying the staff is awesome. From welcoming us to providing all type of information as to what activities to do around the island. The rooms were beautiful. The garden & beautiful plants, surrounded by nature. The staff from the kitchen to the bar were so professional and friendly. The food was amazing. The seafood soup is a must have. The only this was the WIFI was not working well that day so it was a little frustrating but being out in nature makes you live the moment. I would definitely visit again and recommend 10 out of 10.

Such a wonderful experience traveling with family, young children and our service animal. The location is breathtakingly beautiful with its forestry natural landscape, wildlife in the trees (monkeys!) and opportunities to horseback ride all around the property, pueblito, and the beach. Stunning views and the only sad thing is we could not stay longer due to other plans, but we’ll be back here for sure!
