"I have stayed at Dakota several times over the years and it genuinely continues to improve every time. The staff are always lovely and accommodating, especially the reception team. Amber is excellent and Stella is lovely too.
The food is also amazing. I had the fillet steak for dinner with leek and Gruyère gratin and a Caesar salad, and the next day I ordered another Caesar salad for lunch because it was that good.
The bath is an absolute godsend, and the bed and pillows are incredibly soft. Sometimes they can be a little too soft, where it feels like you are sinking in, but the bed I had on this occasion was perfect. It was like sleeping on a cloud.
One small practical note: if you are bringing a Fire Stick, connecting it via HDMI can be a bit of a faff. I would recommend bringing an extension lead, or just asking maintenance for help as they are very helpful and will sort it for you.
Overall, another brilliant stay. Dakota remains one of my favourite places to switch off, rest and feel looked after."
