Hello Laura, Thank you for your feedback regarding our pet fees. We understand your concern but want to clarify that our fees are clearly stated at the time of booking to ensure transparency. If your pets had been registered at the time of booking you would have known our policy. It is also clearly stated on the registration form you signed upon arrival. We charge a pet cleaning fee and a pet nightly fee to cover the cost of returning the accommodation to pre-pet condition and to continue to allow pets in our cabins. Our fees are in line with industry standards and help us maintain our high standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction. Dear Mark, Thank you for taking the time to write a review. I’m sorry that you ended up not staying after the back and forth. When you informed us that you would not arrive for the first night of your stay because your husband had to go out of town, we continued to hold your reservation. Then cancelling the second night because he was not feeling well when he returned. Hopefully, the travel insurance you purchased assists you with the cost of your cancellation. Dear Let Down, Thank you for staying with us and I’m sorry to read that you were disappointed with the cabin you chose on Hotels.com. We strive for thorough accuracy in describing our various accommodations across all booking channels. Fortunately, we had availability in a larger vacation rental loft for the second night of your stay. Unfortunately, you did not register your pet prior to arrival. Had you done so, your confirmation email would have indicated the pet charges. As stated on Expedia: “Pets allowed for an extra charge of USD $25 per pet per night, plus a deposit of USD $50 per stay”. We pride ourselves on providing exceptional accommodations and I’m sorry that the cabin you chose did not meet your expectations.
