Disney Hotel New York - The Art of Marvel

"The Hotel New York is absolutely fabulous. Not only is the architecture amazing the Marvel theming is next level. If you are an Avengers fan then this is the hotel for you. Each room has an example of Marvel artwork and there are paintings and statues everywhere. I would definitely recommend this hotel"

"Proximity to the parks is very good -- 10 miniute walk. Hotel common areas and rooms are clean but the place is getting rather old and tired and would benefit from a renovation. Rooms are also rather small when you consider the price and not very well equipped -- e.g. no refrigerator or mini bar. The disney parks themselves are over crowded and grossly over priced. The lines at the main attractions were all over an hour with some exceeding 90 minutes. We even had the dubious distinction of witnessing a mother help her young child pee in an empty water bottle because the wait was so long.. That said the new Frozen exhibits are good."

"Good hotel for staying at Disney. 10 minute bus shuttle straight to Disney which is useful. Breakfast was extremely busy and a bit overwhelming so go either early or later on as at 9am was too busy! Would overall recommended."

"The room set up was ridiculous. The light in the shower room flickered the entire time and went out occasionally. They had some kind of box attached to the wall directly in front of door. In the dark I hit that damn thing 4 times."

"I truly can’t fault this hotel in any way. They were very accommodating with every question I had as I don’t believe “no” exists in their vocabulary. The shuttle drivers are very friendly and the rides to Disneyland are stress free. If my work hadn’t booked us at another hotel I would advocated to stay here the entire time. I appreciate how they went out of their way to make me feel welcome and comfortable. I’ll be back."

"The property is nice. It’s perfect if you are planning to be at Disney the whole time. If not, it is about an hour to and from the city. You first have to take the shuttle to Disney and then switch to the train. My only complaints are that the AC/fan doesn’t work well. We got warm at night. And the pool has odd hours (11-1 and then 2-7) And no one is keeping an eye on the slide. My son went down and an adult came down too soon after, which resulted in him running into him. The staff is very friendly. There’s lots for the kids to enjoy."
