When a hotel shares your name, you have high standards. Riad Elisa surpassed mine. The welcome when I arrived was very warm - with not only tea and cookies but the woman from customer service sitting down next to me and finding out when I wanted to do in Morocco so she could present specific ideas. The room is fab mix of modern and historic with huge bathroom. I've had breakfast at five riads and hotels in Marrakech and this was definitely the best. The hammam spa downstairs is AMAZING - absolutely magical with deep blue tile and splashes of gold. I loved it!
Location is just perfect! The riad is stunning and the staff are totally amazing! The rooftop is a must visit as it’s beautiful.
A perfect riad and location for a Marrakesh trip
I booked this property 2 months ahead of time. The day of my arrival they cancelled on me and said they did not have room for my reservation

Unwelcoming to guest also be careful of the staff trying to pocket your cash instead of using the credit card machine when paying for breakfast
Sketchy employees!!!!!!
Extremely limited staff available. Spa is okay but massage therapist were probably trained in the Amazon jungle I could massage myself better
Excellente disponibilité du personnel.
Je n'ai pas aimé la mauvaise communication entre le riad et expedia.
La première nuit n'était pas confirmée par le riad alors qu'elle l'était par Expedia, conclusion : pas de chambre disponible !
Riad Elisa was our favorite in Marrakech! It’s very clean and has a more modern / zen vibe and look. The rooftop terrace was beautiful for drinks at sunset. The staff were all very nice and helpful and the location was ideal. Easy to find right on the edge of the Medina and near a part of the souk that was easier to navigate. We did not do breakfast there as it was overpriced when most places include it and there airport pickup is overpriced too. But those are the only downfalls. Everything else was awesome and would definitely stay there again.
I went with my friend and the stay was amazing. The place is super clean. The dinner was nice. I would just suggest a change in breakfast cause it was the same everyday. Other than that i had an amazing time at Riad Elisa
Choose the Deluxe rooms the Duplex are small and on the lower floor, and ask for a room away from the main door if you don't want to be woken in the night from other guest coming back. Overall perfect location and relax Riad for your visit to Marrakech. Good food with a relaxed Spa! all you need. Enjoy!
Booked a suite duplex with downstairs patio. Was “upgraded” to a room with no patio and was unable to get our original room because they had given it away to someone else. Bathroom door handle was broken off on the inside, so you had to leave it open or have someone let you out when you were finished.

Building is impressive and has been nicely restored, but remains a work in process.
- Air conditioning cut out during 2 of the nights at the Riad and room was sweltering without it
- No keys are provided to Riad entrance door, which is locked overnight and attended by a night manager - we were woken up by repeated loud knocking in the early hours of one morning
- Rooftop is still closed and apparently under renovation for another 3 months; had this been clearer at the time of booking, would likely have selected a different place to stay

The reception room and courtyard were beautiful, however, I am quite disappointed in the rooms. There was a huge issue with the plumbing in both of the rooms I booked. I would find leaks/puddles of water outside of the bathroom in the morning, and there was also a pungent odor upon entering the room itself throughout the entire duration of our stay. It is important to note that the front desk/concierge closes at night so if you would like to contact someone regarding such issues, you must do so during the day.
What an amazing property! First, the location, just inside the old city walls & a short walk from the main square, was on point!! The staff was welcoming & helpful, rooms super clean & comfortable. Don’t miss the traditional Haman offered by their spa. The spa was a lovely setting to relax after the chaos of the old city streets. Definitely plan to stay again, hopefully soon.
