“Safari House had plenty of space for our family of five. While not in the heart of Stone Town, it wasn't a far walk (10 min) to get there. Romaine, our host, was quite accommodating. The power and water shut off in the morning and he was over immediately to fix it (we didn't realize it was on a timer and was an easy fix). He also allowed us to store our luggage there after checkout time while we went out for a bit before our flight home. ”

“I stayed here one night after landing in stone town. Perfect spot to nap on and off to get through the jet lag and be right in the heart of stone town. Extremely walkable to sites. The rooms are spacious, excellent shower and super comfy bed. Very clean and was just what I was looking for. Please note that it was a bit difficult to find. A great variety on the menu. Lots of fresh fish options but also great comfort food. The bar had fantastic, fun cocktails and great mocktails and smoothies. They also figured out how to make me a rooibos latte. At high tide the waves come right up to the property and then at low tide a guide can take you out to look at...
