A great hotel to stay in with family

Very clean hotel property. I have stayed here with my family on more than one occasion and will do so again. Very good continental breakfast, also. Clean, comfortable room.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Sleep Inn & Suites. The room was very clean and comfortable. The breakfast area, pool and workout rooms were all very clean and well kept. The beds were very comfortable. Overall, the accommodations were great and we would be happy to stay here again.

Don't count on the pool being open!

We were counting on the pool being open for our Thanksgiving family get together. Lots of kiddos would have enjoyed it. Nothing in the description let us know that the pool was down. Didn't find out until check in.

Rooms were nice. Beds & pillows disappointing. Top mattress slid around while sleeping- pillows were awful, too short, too flat. Walk in shower is very narrow.

Overall property was fine. Reasonable rates. Had to ask a few times to get the room cleaned (50% of the time it was cleaned when asked) Need to add oatmeal to the breakfast menu and not the packets )

My grandson and I very much enjoyed our stay at Charles City. Our first morning we got up so late we missed the breakfast. The next morning, we thoroughly enjoyed the breakfast. The hotel has a high standard of cleanliness. Our room was wonderful. The public areas are very well-kept, and the breakfast area looked terrific. It was also great to have staff members acknowledge us. Many of the hotel's associates would converse with us as if we knew one another for years. It was good to feel so at home.

Stayed there a year ago and it was a pleasant stay. This year staff were not present, First room assigned was overly musty - staff commented that’s normal after rain. Second room was ok, worn and white stain on bedskirt (ick) Entry smelled like vomit. Too bad because this was convenient for a local event.
