"For a basic motel, this was very good. Rooms were updated, clean and had nice towels and coffee. The beds and pillows were comfortable. Convenient to the ferry. Would stay here again."

"Clean, spacious room with a window that opens! Excellent for families as there is a pool and a city park/playground that adjoins the property at the back, giving your kids a place to run around and let off steam after being in a car all day. Nice hiking trail there too. Only gripe: the management wanted you to make a reservation for the restaurant for all meals. I think that's asking a little much for breakfast when you're staying there."

"Before booking know exactly what you are getting into. No phone connection or internet. 90 minute drive in a van from parking up the mountain to the lodge. All meals are eaten collectively, which is great for meeting interesting people. But guests are 90 percent Québécois and enjoy socialising in French. This is a place to do 2 hikes per day. Lots if variety for expert to advanced intermediate hikers. Less for less advanced hikers. Food is excellent. Guides are wonderful "
