I liked the place, was a bit dated. Beach access was weird and not really a beach in front. Pool was awesome, food was good in the 2 restaurants aside from the buffet. Staff was mostly good. One guy Rodrigo at the front desk was super helpful when my wife lost her AirPods, he not only found them but had them delivered to another friend from our city in Mazatlan. He was awesome!

I have stayed here several times and really enjoy the beautiful grounds and wonderful service. I especially enjoyed the food at the Bistro restaurant and Cilantros at the resort in town. The people who work at the hotel go out of their way to give you a pleasant experience. The rooms could use a refresh though. The tile and grout are quite worn especially in the bathrooms. I had a ceiling leak while I was there and they did fix it. It would be nice if they could update this hotel like they did with Pueblo Bonito Mazatlan. Both hotels are nice but I prefer the quieter vibe at Emerald Bay.

The friendliness of the staff, trying at all times to accommodate and extend themselves for their guests is why I gave a rating of 4 star (staff alone would be 5 star). The pools at the resort were very nice also. I found my room to be less than appealing. It reeked of disinfectant and an underlying musty, moldy smell. It was stark and bare. The ocean view was very nice though.

One of the best Hotels in Mazatlán

The hotel is amazing, really clean and the food is awesome, but the staff sometimes behaves like if only the international tourists had paid to be there.

All the staff were especially friendly an knowledgeable, the ocean view from our room was stunning, the food was great, and the activities fun and diverse. A gorgeous resort right on the beach with an array of amenities and services, I highly recommend it!

Very relaxing. Beautiful resort and landscaping. Excellent staff. Nice rooms with great view. If you're looking for night life and lots of activities, this isn't for you. But if you want relaxing and good food and drinks, it's perfect.

Actually, the floor in my room never seemed to get clean along with the bottom of the toilet, having urine stains from before we got there. Even with that being said, the staff was so overly helpful and friendly, and kept everything outside so incredibly maintained and me and my family so well served that I am absolutely coming back to Pueblo Bonito Emerald Bay! The servers and the bartenders were incredible even above the rest of the staff! The beds were very comfortable and besides having to brush my feet off every time I got in bed the room was beautiful! Incredible views with every step. I pushed my mother all around the resort every day because we enjoyed the walk but every 15 or 20 feet another cart would stop to make sure we did not need a ride. Everyone wanted to be so helpful!

We have been coming here for many years, and while not as good as it once was (nothing is it seems, post COVID) we still very much enjoyed our stay. Check-in was seamless and we got a great room (Thank you desk staff Ismael and Fernano). Property is beautiful and mostly well maintained, staff are generally very friendly and helpful. The pool staff (shoutout to Julio!) are readily available and keep your drinks full and food coming. That said, the All inclusive is expensive for the quality of food available. Mind you we haven’t been anywhere else of late, so our perceptions may be way off. Also, it looks like a major storm decimated the beach in the last year and it is inaccessible. Not the resorts fault, but it was certainly a surprise. We will be back next year but will likely look at different options in the future.
