Well located and super clean

We were in McAllen for shopping, it’s not luxurious but worked perfectly for a one day stay; it’s near the mall and stores, fast food restaurants around the corner, it was quiet and we were able to rest after a day of shopping. The room was super clean! The included breakfast it’s just coffee, waffles and toasts, but overall it was a good experience I would definitely stay again and recommend it for a quick trip to McAllen

We were in a king suite. It was roomy, & very comfortable. The AC worked great as it was a hot day. When in shower the water smelled a little off. But, it was clean. It was a very good stay.

The property is nice. Good location. I did NOT like there was no blow dryer in the room. The receptionist said the company is removing them plus No kleenex box and No iron. It is just a bare room. I feel the blow dryer is a must to have in the room. One less item for us to pack. Otherwise adjust the rates to be less for the stay.

The location is excellent. Near different stores, restaurants and gas stations. Very well lit area. Check-in area and rooms were very clean. Young lady at check-in counter was very nice. We stayed 1-night, and hotel is pet friendly. In my opinion, the hotel is only good for a 1-night stay, possibly 2-nights. Would not recommend for an extended stay. Room we stayed in was two levels. The entry way and steps up to the room were very clean, but not too safe. Flooring is tile and nothing slip-resistant to help keep your footing. Restroom is not in the same room as the sleeping area, so no A/C to keep restroom cool (this location is located in McAllen, TX, deep S. Texas, so hot and muggy is ALWAYS the forecast). Nothing worse than coming out of a shower sweating. Also, cold water is not cold, since heat and humidity is the usual weather for this area, you only get one set temperature of water all the time, and that is HOT! Also, towels are the worse...very old towels, super thin, very small and looked dingy because they are so old, also after so many washes the towels become rough. When I asked for extra towels the cleaning lady told me there were already towels in the room. I informed her that, yes, we had two towels and she replied that's what's supposed to be available. I asked if I could at least have one more, and she did provide an extra towel. Would not recommend for an extended stay.
