"Breakfast was mediocre at best. For the cost of a stay, which also included an addition fee of $27 a night for onsite parking, the quality of the breakfast was not even as good as you would get at a much cheaper hotel, based on personal experience. It is a typical buffet, cafeteria style, adjacent to the dining area. The breakfast choices were also typical, but the lack of either bacon or sausages, was disappointing. Even worse, we then discovered that they were available, but had to be specifically ordered and to top it off, at a cost that f $5 per serving!! As noted, the staff and room were excellent. However, the breakfast was not what one would expect at similarly priced accommodations. One other point concerns the labelling of the individual breakfast choices: poor printing and several spelling mistakes - boile eggs, sarce (sauce) basically looking like a child had done it. - someone should be checking this.
The other notable observation was the lack that of any food available other than breakfast e crit for a few snacks or drinks available by requesting through the front desk. There was wine in the room, both red and chilled white, but only by the bottle for $35. There were a couple bottles of room temperature water (should have been in the mini fridge along with the white wine), and not good quality water, judging by the poor taste.
All this not to say I wouldn’t stay here again, as the convenience to downtown is a huge plus. I just wouldn’t have breakfast there. "
