The room was spotless upon check in and cleaning staff returned every morning and did a great job. The manager had upgraded my room to kitchenette free of charge and put me on the econolodge side as well which was great, and the continental breakfast every morning was good. My kids were happy there was a pool and hot tub and I was glad there was also a fitness room. All the staff were very kind and courteous and always willing to answer questions or help in any way possible. We had a really nice stay.

We were given a room across the street in the Econo Lodge. We were extremely impressed with this property considering the price we paid. It was very clean and quiet. Bob helped us with check-in and was very pleasant. I wasn't expecting much for breakfast, considering the price, but there were eggs, sausages, hashbrowns, waffles, etc. We would definitely stay here again!

The property was not the one we originally booked upon arrival we were met with a note saying to cross street to different hotel for booking, all under same ownership I conclude they are same ownership group. The area I would not leave my wife alone at without concern. Never even looked inside and ate the cost of cancel rather than staying. I will say the staff I spoke to at the property we were directed to were fine and polite regardless

We actually didn’t stay in the TC Motel. You have to go check in at the EconoLodge across the street, and I asked about a cot for our 5th person. They were very friendly and said the TC Motel didn’t have cots but he’d just put us in a room at the EconoLodge. We ended up getting a huge room with a full kitchen (stove, full-size fridge, microwave, pots and utensils, kitchen sink, etc.), 2 Queen beds and a couch for the same price as our TC booking. The decor is dated, but everything was clean and the beds were very comfortable. The continental breakfast was extensive and the staff service was excellent. I will seek the EconoLodge out if I’m staying in Medicine Hat again.

We stayed there two times, one week apart. The first time we were given a room at the EconoLodge and it was great. No complaints at all! The second time we were given a room at the TC motel across the street. Although the bed and bathroom were very clean, there were many issues. Filthy material on the chairs and lampshade. A pile (not even folded) of extra linens left on the kitchen area counter and in the sink. No toilet paper in the bathroom, but found it in a bag on the counter. No front panel to the stove. We were moved to a room at the EconoLodge after they could not get the shower curtain rod fixed (it was not in place when we arrived). The staff was great, though. They just need to give the TC motel rooms some serious TLC.

Arrived, in a blizzard, just a few minutes after the designated check-in time only to find TC Motel doesn't actually have an office in their building. You're directed to go across the street, in a blizzard, and get a room at the TC Motel from the EconoLodge desk. But, there was no one at the desk when I arrived - after driving thorough a blizzard to get there at the check-in time advertised. Another client of theirs was on his 3rd visit to the desk as he couldn't get his room key to open his suite - in a BLIZZARD! No one answered the phone number I had for the TC Motel. The business cards for the EconoLodge manager were printed with a number that was no longer in service. The 1-800 customer service number I called was completely useless as they just referred me to another department that wouldn't answer unless you'd already checked in and were given a code to punch into your phone. I was there for a FUNERAL! My sister had DIED! They KNEW IT! I have a HUGE family and LOTS of friends in Medicine Hat. EVERYONE knows NOT to refer their guests to TC Motel or the EconoLodge next door! Heartless jerks!
