Great location
The hotel is in a great location a short walk from the river with its plentiful bars and restaurants. The city centre is in easy walking distance. During our stay we spent 2 days at the Australian Open tennis and saw a Big Bash 20/20 cricket match at the MCG, these venues are 30 to 40 minute walks from the hotel along the Yarra river.

Corner King Room - Not at all what is advertised.
We booked a Corner King room for our anniversary & were very disappointed when the room we were placed in looked nothing like what is advertised on the website. it was the exact layout of a standard room but on the corner of the building. felt very ripped off as the listing shows a corner room with curved windows. spoke with staff regarding this & they offered a free upgrade next time we stay, but to be honest. this was an expensive night as it is, so staying there again is probably not on the cards unless we stay mid week.

Second stay at Promenade. Expected same corner king room but received a different one with different layout. Disappointing. Droning noise all night from air conditioning vents at Casino maybe? Difficult to sleep. Also bed linen is "noisy". Otherwise, lovely and clean and good location.

This is a lovely hotel close to the casino, restaurants, movie theatres and shops and very reasonably priced.

Very comfortable and in a great location
We often stay at the Promenade as we know it is very comfortable and staff are always very accommodating. The location is great, either dine at the Mesh or there are many other great restaurant's close by. We can't resist going to Crown Casino as the vibe there is always great. What more could you ask for!!

結構安く予約できたので、コストパフォーマンスは非常によかったです。メルボルンの店が閉まるのが早いのでびっくりしましたが、クラウンカジノにも直結してるので夜まで遊べていいホテルです。

Perfect for attending function at the Palladium ac
Perfect for our attendance at a fiction at the Palladium which was across the road. Hotel staff friendly & efficient. Great view from our room. Car parking reasonably priced- $16.... a little way down the road though. Plenty of options for eating close by. Very happy overall. Than you

Very poor customer service
Hotel location is great and looks amazing but with very poor customer service it means I will never return. They do not accommodate for families at the pool area. We had an extremely rude, impatient person that clearly has no respect for customers.

Mini honeymoon..
We got married in the morning, drove past the hotel, vallet parked the car, checked in, jumped in a cab and got to our reception.. We got back to the Promenade and we have our bags and a chilled bottle of champagne waiting in our room.. Next day we walked to great food places, bars, entertainment and watched the ANZAC day match.. This place was sensational.. Will be back again and again.. Thankyou to the friendly staff as well.. Cheers

Great pool, but....
Comfortable looking on appearance, two nights here was pretty terrible - the air con wouldn't shut off, there's a constant fan in the bathroom and noise from the street (even on level 19) and the bed was old and hard... Needless to say I slept about 2 hours a night

Worst staff ever encountered for large hotel.
You really need to teach ur staff to express some natural kindness, politeness & comfort towards travellers & guests staying at your hotel. My husband is Italian so naturally talks smiles & hellos everyone he passes, I don't do this unless they acknowledge me but he does it to everyone it's his culture his way. His kind & polite to everyone. U had maintance person on floor totally ignored him didn't hello smile respond or acknowledge him in anyway. Each day we saw cleaners for the rooms in the hallways not one out of the four we encountered responded or even just smiled at his friendly greeting towards them, either hello or good morning, they just totally ignored him. A man dressed in a suit with his crown silver name plaque clearly in place who u would expect to answer just as bad absolutely nothing no acknowledgement in anyway. Totally ignored once again. A staff member carrying 3 towels he said hello she ignored him, he turned as she kept walking and said good morning in a louder voice, she did not even look at him just kept walking. He said to me not every person who works here can be deaf. What's wrong that no one will speak to us? I complained about this at checkout that people especially staff should at least smile at us if they don't want to bother just a simple hello. The man said oh well we have a lot of foreign workers they might not speak English very well. I can not finish writing the rest of my complaint it won't let me!!!!

Perfect location for tourists and great for locals
We had the best stay starting with the valet parking which is for 24 hours so good if you have to go to work in city. Checkin great that let me do it early as I was there early. Beds excellent gorgeous place.

Situation géographique exceptionnelle.
Nous avons eu la chance d'avoir une chambre au 23 ième et dernier étage avec une vue exceptionnelle sur l'aquarium, la rivière Yarra et les immeuble du centre ville. Le personnel de l'hôtel a été très agréable et serviable. Nous ne parlons et ne comprenons l'anglais. Nous pensons que l'hôtel pourrait s'équiper de matériel informatique pouvant traduire plusieurs langues. Nous gardons un excellent souvenir de notre séjour.

Mid week stay
We were dining out in the city for a special occasion and chose to stay at Crown Promenade overnight in a King standard room. Upon our return from dinner, we were given a complementary bottle of sparkling wine on ice. A nice touch. The room was plenty big enough for our stay and we were fortunate enough to be given a room on the top floor with views to the city. We had a few pre dinner drinks in a quiet corner of their Tonic Bar at ground level. We found the staff to be courteous, friendly and helpful at both the bar and at reception. A welcoming smile goes a long way. The location is ideal, the room clean, bed comfortable and would stay here again.

Over night business trip
We arrived at he hotel only to be advised they couldn't find our reservation. Luckily it was emailed and SMS text to my mobile. Apparently there was a glitch between Wotif where the booking was made and the hotel. The counter staff member was extremely polite and profession and handled without a hitch. He promptly booked us into our rooms with a view back onto Southbank. The Concierge guys were the most welcoming, helpful people I have come across in a long time.

Crown Promenade in Melbourne, fairly okay
Fairly okay overall as we thought it's closer to Crown casino but the Metropol should much newer than this one. The bathroom is just bad design especially the shower button is far from the water comes from. The fridge are all full of pre-served drinks and leave no room can put in self-serve stuff. All bottle water are chargeable unlike some hotels are complementary nowadays. The air-con is another bad, it's still the old fashion wheel-style without digital screen temperature control. The bedding is okay as we booked the twin bed which is enough for 2 adults& 2 kids. Overall is fine but will try Metropol or Crown Tower next time.

A perfect place to relax with excellent facilities
The staff could not have been more friendly and accommodating. The room was well appointed and close to the lift and ice machine as requested. Beautiful spacious room with great views. Will definitely stay here again.

Great location
Stayed for 3 nights and was upgraded to a Harbour View room. Great location overlooking Darling Harbour and ferries. Lots to see and do around the hotel. Would stay there again.

The rooms felt a bit standard, I was expecting them to be a bit more luxurious. The bathroom was really nice. The bed was old, sheets felt like a hospital. Flat sheet around base then a sheet in either side of doona once you jumped in everything untucked. I travel a lot for work and this room definitely was just average.
