The room and view blew us away, Ocean views, vineyard views, on and on. They had a very fine breakfast and in the evening they had outstanding sweets laid out. My wife is going in for brain surgery in two weeks. They showed her the loving care she needed, so much so we could not help but cry. They had no idea what we are going through. "Really attractive and nicely furnished converted old building. The staff were very friendly and couldn't do enough for us. Breakfast was just about perfect. Garai is a lovely village and has two magnificent restaurants within a 10 minute walk, ideal for the tasting menu with accompanying wines. A little fitness is needed as the walk up to the hotel from the car park is quite strenuous and there are a few flights of stairs if you are in one of the upper rooms.
