I like having the refrigerator and mini kitchen. It was very quiet even though it was very close to the interstate. The bathroom and kitchen could be cleaner...the floors were sticky. I did not go barefoot at all in the room. The bed was comfortable.

The atmosphere was good, family friendly. Staff was efficient and helpful. The cleanliness and maintenance of the room were lacking. Sheets and linens were clean, floors were clean but pretty worn. The dust guards on the beds were disgusting. And there was a fair amount of damage to the room. The granite countertop was broken in the kitchen and there was water damage to the ceiling in the bathroom. It was a decent stay but I’ll probably find somewhere else next time.

The property location is great, and the staff was polite. This property is in need of renovation and hiring more well-paid staff. In the meantime, the property interior needs a serious cleaning from top to bottom (stain carpets, floors, furniture drapery. Unclean cabinets and kitchen and bath. light fixtures not working.

Was not able to stay there. The bathroom floor was dirty as was the couch in the bedroom. The carpet was filthy in the hall and in the room. We asked for another room but was told that they had refunded our stay. So we left. Worst experience with a hotel.

When we arrived they put us in a room on the 3rd floor, when we got to our room the beds were stripped down to the mattress and covers were laying everywhere, obviously not cleaned and also the room had double beds when we booked a king room. Went back down to the front desk and they put us in another room and when I said something about the double beds he said that’s all the rooms they had. How did I reserve and pay and book a king room if they’re weren’t any available. Me and my husband crammed in a double bed, we did not sleep good at all. Probably would have got better sleep in my car and saved $100. When we got in the other room the ceiling and paint was peeling in the bathroom and didn’t feel clean. Glad we only stayed one night. Would not stay here again. I will say the staff was friendly and the breakfast was pretty good.

Rude front desk manager and terrible room!
1st off the front desk manager was extremely rude. She spoke to me as if I was a child and had no understanding to her voice. Secondly my room was terrible. Key cover was missing on main door. That was a huge security issue, next the bathroom door was damaged and clearly needed to be replaced. The bathroom is missing light bulbs also. I complained about all of this and she blamed it on maintenance and there wasn’t anymore rooms available. She was quick to offer a refund because she didn’t want to help me anyways.

Thank you for your review. I didn't think I had an attitude explaining the rules of the hotel. I think you got upset when I stated that the underage children were not going to be left alone to have a party. You repeated cut me off as I was talking. I am only 5ft tall and a light of at least 12ft is a maintenance issue. I also told you that we only had rooms with one bed, not the 2 beds that you had booked. The key cover was an issue that I told you I could fix, not the door wouldn't lock as you told Hotels.com. The only other option is a refund. The bigger problem was about leaving the kids alone in the room without an adult as you repeated asked the minor what did she want to do. Have a wonderful day!

An OK place to stay. You can tell the property is older. There was mildew around the shower/tub, carpet stains, and everything needs new paint, but we felt safe and it was ok for a night or two.

The hotel needs a freshing up. The carpet in the hallways is all torn and worn. The room carpet had huge sections missing are staples exposed. The pillows are shaped like a brick and feel like it too. I mentioned the hole in the wall from the door and was told that is normal, a door stop doesn’t cost that much. That alone should tell you how much they care. The bathroom tub and area around it had rust spots. The hotel is none smoking but the room smelled like smoke. If it was not the only room left in the hotel I would have asked to change rooms.

The property was quite run down. There was an odor when you first walk in the door. When we got to our room, there was a hole in the wall behind the door from the doorknob. The carpet was bare in some areas and even missing in a few places. The bathroom did not have a shower curtain and one of the fluorescent lights was out. The bed sheets were cleaned but discolored in a few places. The pull-out couch had stains on the mattress. For what I paid for the room, I definitely expected more.

The room was comfortable and clean.. just a a good bit of age and/or damage that needs to be fixed or was unprofessionally fixed… like the hole in the wall behind the door. They just need to invest in more updates. The linens were nice and the bed was comfy. Breakfast was good. The worst thing was the hallway carpet.. it was filthy and worn through in places. That was a big turn off.

Friendly service/ disgusting room
We booked late at night to stop before the ice started accumulating on the roads. I called the front desk and the employee was very helpful in guaranteeing our room even though we would be arriving after midnight. The room was disgusting. We walked into the smell of recently cooked food. The floor was sticky, the carpet was stained, and the TV was blaring. We were afraid that it was someone else’s room. The pillows were half-size balls of a few feathers. The sofa bed was already made which made me think it was already used and not cleaned. The tub had hair in it. The sink, mirror, and tissue holder were all dirty and had water/toothpaste stains on them. And, lastly, I’m pretty sure there were boogers on the wall by the toilet paper.

When the receptionist gave me the key, and I went into the room, there were already people in the room. I came back and told the receptionist she gave me another key and said it’s all I have if you don’t like it let me know and I will give you your money back. We ended up getting the hotel next door.

Definitely will stay again
Clean, nice. Great price. A lot of painting going on. Some of the workers didn’t look like workers. I guess I would say they all weren’t in uniform. House keepers were loud in the halls with regular conversations & profanity. But the rooms were clean and they were nice to us. Room has kitchen but no pots, pans or utensils. Showers are nice size. Bed was comfy.

Don’t go there if you have a pet.
The person in the reception was very kind, unfortunately the room assigned was in very poor condition because is assigned to guests with pets. I decided to move to a different hotel, Hotels.com and the receptionist helped to fix the situation. I have booked pet friendly hotels always but this one has the worst rooms if you have a pet with you. I will suggest to have tile floor instead of carpets.

I don’t mind staying in pet friendly hotel, but the person next door had a dog that barked the whole time we were there. The room out outdated, and we could hear every noise around us like there was no insulation in the walls.

It was a terrible experience. The first room we were given was very dirty and smelly. I requested a room change, and i was told that kind of smell and carpet issues were normal as the hotel is pet friendly. The hallway carpets were terrible too. I will never stay there again!

The room we booked, the last one of its kind, was dirty. We were moved to a smaller room for the same price. The second room was also not in good condition. I will think carefully before booking a room this way again.

We travel with a pet. I contacted hotel prior to check in concerning this. The room we were given had a hole in the wall behind door where the handle had been slammed into. The carpet was torn up at the transition from tile to carpet. There was only two utensils, a fork and a knife. While I appreciate only a $25 pet fee, we deserved a nicer room. When I informed the desk, the attendant on duty, just told me, well that’s one of our pet rooms.

Older hotel but wonderful stay
The hotel is older so the carpet and tile are a little run down but everything was very clean. The room was perfect for our family. We were provided everything we needed. The staff was extremely friendly. The provided breakfast was wonderful. Highly recommend this hotel for a quick pit stop.
