The room was huge, beautiful and very, very clean. The restaurant on the property was great for breakfast. I found the staff at the front desk uniformly not helpful. They told me the spa was closed and it was like pulling teeth to find an alternative for a massage . when we asked to be connected to a local restaurant, they dialed the number and handed us the phone, but the restaurant didn’t speak English so improvements in the staff would be welcome.

It was fine, but it wasn’t all that. The location was great and the bed was comfortable, but overall it felt like an elevated La Quinta. The amenities were pretty underwhelming — they gave us a bag with ear plugs and two Q-tips. Seriously. The shower had soap and shampoo dispensers, but the products weren’t very good, so we ended up buying our own. There was no moisturizer or slippers. There were two bathrobes but they probably would've been too small on a child. There was one washcloth in the bathroom and after we used it, it was never replaced so they were no washcloths at all. We accidentally broke a wine glass and let housekeeping know so nobody would cut themselves and we could get it replaced. The housekeeper seemed appreciative that we let her know, but we ended up having to ask for a second wine glass since the broken one was never replaced. I had initially booked a sweet with an interior balcony view but after looking at it I switched to a suite on the street. The balcony had one uncomfortable chair and a view of nothing. The street suite was a little bit noisier but we liked opening the windows in the morning and seeing the city. The whole experience was very underwhelming and I wouldn’t stay there again.

Perfect location to explore Condessa and Roma Norte. About 30mins walk to Chapultepec Park. Lots of restaurants, cafes within a 5-10min walk. Lots of tree-lined streets and nice architecture. Felt completely safe walking around alone even in the evenings (solo female traveller). Such a lovely area of Mexico City. The room I had was very spacious and had all the usual amenities — including bottled water which was convenient. The hot water took a while to run though, so turn it on well in advance of when you wanna hop in the shower!
