Great Stay!

Lovely little resort, classic/retro florida style - was really happy to share this place with my daughter. Felt like my child hood! It was nice to not be a high rise, almost fake fancy feeling hotel. Warm pool, complimentary beach towels, and direct beach access. Perfect stay, ready to come back for another winter escape!

I originally had a hotel in Miami’ beach , but they didn’t have free parking , I found this one online , got a deal and booked same day , everyone was patient and friendly , it felt so safe and serene , 10/10 WILL GO AGAIN

Awesome hotel by the beach

Second time I stay here. I was here for a weekend in August and loved it so much I decided to do another weekend now in September. The location to the beach is what sold me. Sad to hear the place was sold and may become condominiums.

It is such a beautiful property! It is clean, nice, and safe. There is parking which is so rare in the area and the beach is within walking distance. There is also food near by and so much to do. The most affordable place around!

Great place. A taste of old Florida. Big room. On the beach. Good bed. Nice courtyard. Low key. Mellow. Great pool. Love it. Would stay here again, now that I know about it.

The property is right on the beach, way closer than all the super swanky high-rise hotels surrounding it. It's a little rough around the edges, but, WOW, the location is just fabulous. Great for families!

Property outlived its life expectancy with no investment in improving and maintaining rooms and bathrooms. The best feature is the location is next to the beach, but I would not stay there again given how outdated the rooms and bathrooms are.

This is a hidden gem. Quiet and right on the beach. Yes, the rooms are dated, but if you are ok to overlook that, it’s affordable and a great beachside location. Book a cabin or courtyard view.

A gem and great value for the money.

I was totally charmed. Its a slice of history - and sure an update would be lovely, then they would charge $700 a night and then you are missing the point. Its steps from the sand, quite and safe and clean, and totally adequate. If you want luxury accommodations, this isn't for you, but the price probably told you that. The staff has been helpful, warm and lovely.

The grounds on the parking side were extremely shabby. The pool side was fine. The pool was clean and nice . The rooms were clean and nice and had a kitchen. Being right on the beach was great! “Old Florida “ motel. Not many of those left..

Property is very dated and old but if you want to get away from craziness of Miami and be right on the beach. It’s very reasonable. Had a kitchen, near restaurants and grocery store. Bill Baggs Cape State Park was nice and so was Crandon Park. Staff was nice.

Old classic Florida motel. An icon.

This motel is floridas go back to the good old days. Say the 60/70’s old fashioned and I’d say charming. One of the last icons. Clean. On the beach. Fantastic guy checked us in. I’d definitely stay again as it’s out of the huddle and bustle of the main public beach down the way.

We needed a property to stay in for one night and this fitted the bill. For one night stay it was fine, I wouldn’t stay more than a night though. It smells like the 1980’s, old. The air conditioner also wouldn’t stay on for more than 5 mins at a time. I must say it was very clean, and for the night we stayed, it was more than adequate.
