“The resort is decent, the hours of operation should be longer in my opinion the swim up bar by the pool closes at 5pm the pool closes at 7pm the buffet close at 10 pm everything else close at 11pm if you get hungry at night after going out there will be nothing to eat. “The ladies at the activity desk and the staff at the restaurant are very friendly and helpful. The property is showing signs of aging, and needs some maintenance and repairs. Our specific unit needs some upgrades and replacements (mattress, chairs, faucets, etc...). The lighthouse as a whole is great, as there is a more private gym and pool facility. “My Sonesta Maho vacation was amazing! From the check-in to the actual 6 night stay to the check-out, no issues or complaints. Our room was cleaned daily, the food was good, the gym was sufficient for my use and I had a great time using the pool daily. The entire staff was friendly and helpful. I would definitely revisit this resort. ”

“I landed on Monday and the one small bar / restaurant they have was closed. We had to walk about 10 mins and get grocery’s. Then the ac button wasn’t working. There’s no staff on site all evening. The pool area is small than the pics and this hotel is NOT beach front at all. We ended up leaving to stay at the Morgan for 2 days because we did not enjoy our stay. The second day before we left to the Morgan spa hotel we went to pool area, there’s was no music the bartender/ server was sitting down...

The entire week that was carried through with every staff member we encountered. Our room was very clean and daily housekeeping kept it sparkling all week. “We chose this place to experience Maho Beach. Best experience ever. The people were wonderful snd the views and pool were great. Everything you need is close by. Note: you don't need a car but okay if you get one.”
