โLovely nights stay at the Ashford Arms. Comfortable rooms and excellent restaurant serving fabulous food. Nice to have a breakfast menu as opposed to a buffet. Great location in quiet village close to Bakewell. Would stay again if back in Derbyshire.โ
โNice stay. Lovely and Clean. Beautiful surroundings. Driveway is very steep and the underfloor heating downstairs would never turn off leaving it very warm.

โLovely place to stay the night whilst we were visiting Chatsworth House. Nice and quiet ample parking. The room was really clean and everything we needed was provided even a fan which was a god send as the weather was sweltering. Had a perfect nights sleep. The staff were amazing and extremely friendly both at the reception and in the restaurant. We had both and evening meal and breakfast the food was lovely, hot and well prepared. โThe hotel itself needs a little bit of updating in terms of decor, but the room we stayed in was fine for us and was very quiet. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom was OK (the water pressure was a bit low) and it was nice having a full sized fridge in the room. The staff were always friendly and it was an ideal base for visiting family in Halifaxโ
