“Idea for a single person exploring the south-western Lake District.”

“Overall, a pleasant stay, although there were a few areas that could certainly be improved. Parking was convenient, the Wi-Fi was reliable, and the shower was very good. “Clean room good value”

“Clean room, comfy bed and a good shower. Hallways could have done with a quick vac. Missed second day breakfast but still enough left.”

“The Duke of Edinburgh hotel was a gem. I don’t know the history of the building but it’s older; that doesn't mean bad. They have done a great job of renovating the rooms, or at least ours was. It was one of the best rooms we’ve had on our trip. We also had dinner and a breakfast while there and the food at the restaurant/pub was excellent. “아주 깨끗하고 이상적인 숙소입니다. 관리가 무지하게 잘되는 곳입니다”

“What a perfect place to stay. Room was large and comfortable. Emiko was a lovey host full of great suggestions on what to do locally. Breakfast was very tasty but the real added extra was the on site bar with what seemed like 100s of different whiskeys which Emiko was very knowledgable on and happy to help you find one to enjoy. We will be back. ”

“Room was tired and bed uncomfortable. Car park had no lighting which made it difficult to navigate in the dark.”

“Lady on reception charming”

“Tienen el personal mas amable, son muy atentos y agradables. Por supuesto volvería. Tomen enc uenta el ruido del fin de semana, es mucho pero de domingo a jueves es nulo. El lugar es limpio y cómodo, recibes lo que pagas , el servicio es extraordinario.”

“The hotel was great but getting taxis when there is a large retreat at the Budist temple can be challenging”

“Well appointed room with everything you need and stunning view.”
